Excellent suggestions… filters and screens cause vacuum obstructions in cars, mowers, motorcycles, and HVAC systems… the cure to one problem can lead to the cause of the next problem… as in life , balance and monitor component efficiency.

Thank you for this demonstration. You say to use only Bissell solution or water. Is it ok to add vinegar and a small amount of Dawn?

My x7 leaves a puddle when I shut it off. I’ve replaced the filter and brush. Water pools in the clear hose that goes between the head and the dirty tank even with the crosswave on. Beyond frustrating!

Try just using water for testing and see if the suction is the same. Sometimes solutions can stay on the brush and cause a similar issue. Also double check to make sure you’re using official Bissell filters and not the Amazon style replacement. Beyond that I would have to physically work with the unit to better diagnose it.

Help I have a crosswave max cordless it works perfect and then starts cutting off it restarts but continues that cycle I do not know why it’s happening

Check to see if it’s still under warranty- I’ve worked on it before and we ended up having to just request a replacement for the customer- it’s most likely a pcb board can’t be certain unless a full service check is done. Ask customer if there is an authorized service center near tou

@@monroevacsIt is new Bissell Pet Pro and it leaves dirty stains of water. We tried some totorial how to clean, but nothing worked.We tried to pust water button only for 2 or 3 seconds, but it didnt help. If you move forward and than you want move back, there is the stain every time.

@zinitaxozinitaxo1581 sounds like a suction issue. Does it seem like the leaking is coming from the side of the nozzle? If so, it may be left over dirty water that didn’t make it to the tank. See if the filter is covered with fibers or if the tank has a gap somewhere

My Bissell revolution leaks water out of the holes in the bottom after u press the trigger I took the machine apart but I'm stuck

Should it be blowing or sucking when you test the unit and leave the water tank out , to test? Bc mine is blowing not sucking

Hmm it should be sucking. Try pouring water directly into the auto receiver

So I have one of these and the issue I’m having right now. The machine will turn on but it’s not sucking it doesn’t seam and then the machine will cut off with a red fan light and a warning light comes on what does this probably mean?

Hmm how does the motor sound? I’m thinking that a new filter is needed. But I’m more concerned with the motor. Try running it without the tank on. To see if the red light comes on.

I have the same problem with mine it turns on but the brush roll doesn't have power and a red fan and red warning light turn in then cuts off

Also cleaned out all the hair from roller put in a new roller and it turns but not much power when it turns

Bissell crosswave motor won't turn on

Two options- first is the motor- 2nd could be the handle (on and off mini circuit board in the handle with a micro switch under the trigger) that handle has been the cause on many units

Would you recommend these types of floor cleaners considering how close the motor is to water? I want one but I want something that will last long term(5+ years). Also what kind of artwork?

Unfortunately that’s all of them (meaning that they all have the filter below the motor design) at least to my knowledge. There are scrubber that don’t suck up the water that’s designed differently but so far that one’s that so will have similar problems. As for my artwork you can visit gmartstudio.com to get an idea of my style but the tee shirts my display a different style
