I grow my own Mary Jane in a green house that simulates a rain forest conditions. This is how I met the jumping spider for myself. I live in Oregon and we have all kinds of bugs but I was shocked at the behavior off the jumping spider. It was the first spider I saw that looked directly at me. It’s a scary experience to have a spider turn and lift its head to look at you. It also hid bEhind the branches trying to break eyeliner with me. Cool spiders but next season I’m spraying for bugs

I rarely ever see a cellar spider or a centipede lose a fight. I guess you have to pit them against each other for one to actually lose a battle. I expected the cellar spider would win as soon as I saw that centipede climb into its web, but damn, that was so close. I'm very grateful these things are not large enough to be a threat to humans.

Here's what you can count on. Centipede > most of the insects on here. Any insect up against a web dwelling spider is likely to lose. They play it off like it's gonna be one on one when it is any other insect vs. an ant. You always have to fight the whole squad when it comes to ants.
