Monster grizzly bear with cubs at Pilgrim Creek, Grand Teton National Park

We entered Grand Teton from Yellostone and drove into Pilgrim Creek hoping to see a moose. We drove quite a ways and came upon a traffic jam. People had been waiting for hours to see a bear, we were told. We didn't expect this enormous grizzly only five minutes after arriving! Tell us if you think the cubs look like anteaters when they cross the dirt road.

I can see why you thought of anteaters lol ... People REALLY need to stay in their frickin cars though. They aren't just putting themselves at risk - that's a choice that's up to them - but the bears -including the babies - would have been killed if that sow had gone after anyone. And if she had, the human's would not have made it to their cars. I don't understand why people put these animals at risk.

Why are people and kids out of their car's what in the FCK is wrong with them and someone there holding them back and poor mommy grizzly bear and babies were scared walking between cars.it never makes me sad when some fool gets mauled trying to snap a photo of a bear away to close.
