I have her and I was really impressed with everything. That bag is not a pet carrier. It's what the botanists use to carry their books and sprays to take care of the plants. And it's worn in the front. Great video

I still gotta unbox my Venus but def know I’ll love her. She’s prob my new fav g3 doll. I’m excited for the 3 pack hissfits. Yes trapper keepers I had those in the 80s 🎉🎉🎉. Def think Barbie extra pets influenced how g3 MH got designed 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔

I just got my G3 Venus & I absolutely LOVE her! Venus was always a favourite of mine, along with Lagoona. & I'm amused how Chewlian out of his pot is actually a cat 😅

She might be the best one for the year, although there's a collector's edition of Jinafire that'll come out in December, and that one will be AMAZING as well. I also loved Abbey and got her a couple of months ago. I stopped buying the main four because I don't need 12 of each character. LOL. I don't even need four of each character. These new MH dolls are hitting it out of the ballpark, for the most part. They're doing an amazing job designing them.

G1 were playline dolls as well though their accessories were much less. I feel that the bits that come with the G3 dolls are much better. I adore them.

To be honest Gen 1 Venus McFlytrap Is Awesome to me and other Gen 1 MH Fan people Venus converted me to be a recycler where I rinse crush and add soda cans in a trash bag and when the bags full I duck typed and cover the whole on top of the bag and load another bag of Cans and with large amounts of cans I trade them in for cash at a recycling plant might research on how I could build up my own recycling company someday Save Green To Make Green That’s My Way To Make Green

I’m really concerned by all these people who seem to think six-year-olds aren’t kids. That’s sadly why I don’t watch Melissa. She is so beautiful and actually seens like the same character (although that cat Chewlian deserves the woodchipper), but I still don’t understand why G3 would rather try to apply human race to an alien plant girl than accept where the Black Lagoon and the Yeti Highway are.

I am not sure I understand the bottom half of your comment, but monster high has always been about inclusion. Why make Lagoona Australian in Gen one? Because that’s where the Great Barrier Reef is located. Why give Howleen a werewolf brush in Gen one? Her hair is different from others which is very much how African American people are with their hair and all of the wolf family is very black coded as characters even though they are just werewolves at the end of the day. Bottom line is they don’t have to be afro centric, but they are and I see no issue being with the fact her monster type has nothing to do with real life culture maybe besides her last name being McFlytrap and the Mc part being Scottish. It just adds diversity to the dolls, and since her monster is based of the little shop of horrors Venus flytrap monster, her being how she is now I take no issue with. People like seeing dolls that look like them, even if it is a green monster for children. People still like seeing that hair type. I know I do being African American myself. It would be one hundred steps back if this applied to every doll made by monster high. If we didn’t give them culture and take inspiration from the real world monster high wouldn’t be what it is today. That’s just my two cents. Venus makes a lot of people happy, including myself. She’s also a monster and a plant monster, it’s just cool. She’s cool. If their culture and race has nothing to do with them as a monster, I see nothing wrong with her now being black coded. They could probably be the same character going forward. They just look different, and different is good in monster high for character design.

I like her, but I still think her skin color is too dark. A lighter green skin would have made her hair stand out more. Shes also missing a leather jacket or vest.

For me the cons are the material of the shorts and the yarn hair. I don't know if she's the best of 2024, but I've seen leaks of other dolls and as for characters I want to see how spectra is in real life. Catty for me is a big NO cuz she seems a disaster on every point. As for main characters the Monster Fest wave looks pretty interesting. And let's don't forget the core refresh dolls, up to now drac and clawdeen were better than the wave 1 and from the leaks the other 3 looks even better. It's just my opinion, even tho I'm not collecting monster high that much in this gen

Venus is no where to be found for me. 😢 She's sold out online.. I seriously hope they come out with new friends and different "species" of monsters we need a loch ness? And maybe a Sasquatch? Griffin?

The base doll herself is gorgeous but the outfit and shoes r meh, besides her and Abbey I just don’t feel connected to anything from G3. All the outfits r just not doing it for me, absolutely love the diversity but everything else it’s just not for me.
