I think there's a chance in Wilds to do something incredible with Monoblos. We all know that it's an in-world tradition that Monoblos has to be hunted solo to honor the original hunter tradition. But what if there were multiple Monoblos on the same map? That way, there would be a reason to have a special event quest where it's 4 hunters against 4 Monoblos.

When I finished MHS2, I rememer it quite well, since it wasn't that far ago but, I was on a trip back to my mom's house and i was sharing the room with my little brother. And really both of us were amazed of how gorgeous it was (and I remember that my first try was brought down just before the start of the last phase as well ^^") truly an incredible design and fight overall... C'mon Capcom gives us some more 👀

Most important, if it's alongside people with a calmed heart and mind, versa Pietru doesn't turn into makili, meaning that we could be witnessing the only elder dragon that is friendly towards humans.

I hated how you couldn’t fight Oltura again and that there were no armor and weapons to earn from it. Instead we just got a dogsh!t Kulve Taroth hunt in place of it. I hope it’ll come back one day in another game and that we actually get gear from it.

Oltura is genuinely one of the absolute fucking COOLEST monsters in the franchise. A multi-winged dragon god of light that charges up a light nuke is just... so fucking awesome; easily my second favorite monster, BARELY behind Soulseer Mizutsune. It's Monster Hunter's answer to Pokemon's Ultra Necrozma and I want to see them fight.

In my opinion, both Ratha and Oltura had wasted potential. I get its likely because of him being a spin-off monster but at least some more information on him and his rivalry with the Razewing Rathalos would have been nice. Oltura easily being a black dragon class monster would have been great to explore and the same goes for Ratha who resolves his arc in the middle of the story. It would have been great to keep his black wings, potentially being able to switch forms through Dede to give him some relevancy after the story but I guess not. Perhaps Oltura could have originally been a force for good but got corrupted by the person trying to summon him whereas Ratha despite his evil nature could have fought through it with both white and black wings at the end to show that evil is capable of doing good.

This exact same issue ironically happened in Stories 1 with its Final Boss, Versa Pietru. Incredible design that is never seen again and isnt even refightable

Honestly, Oltura really is great. Difficult ( at least for me ) when fighting it for the first time, enjoyable when fighting it for the second time. Oltura armor would be great, but the question is also if it would be good ? Ofc, you can always use it's armor as a layered armor, but there are many other great armors you can use as layered ones, like the Kulve Taroth armor. Anyway, maybe Capcom updates mhs2 by adding a Trial Quest, where you can challenge Oltura, HR and LR

In the case of the new one, tell us what its basic idea is. my personal ones is the tonfas for the returner and for the new one i call it "hunting tambourine" that plays like the rise hunting horn, but with the focus on having few and short-lasting buffs, but which get stronger as the music (or rather dance) is played and can be activated constantly. The horn is focused on several powerful, long-lasting buffs that can be saved for later, but is slower activation time makes you a eazy target

Ceadeus! Cesdaus deserves better! Mostly in the sense he deserves to come back! Goldbeard armor in 3U was my bread and butter until I ***HAD*** to make a new set of Stygian Zinogre for Dire Mirales (another one who also deserves better). These two monsters are some of my favorite and they should come back as like...a siege/ship battle or something, that way you can circumvent the water/swimming mechanics that so many people seem to hate while still being able to have a full blown fight.

Yeah I have a few (in terms of weapon design in MHW) Xeno Jiiva (worst offender) ,Pukei Pukei, Lavasioth/Jyratadaus/ Beotodus, Anjanath, Both Palumu variants both Glavenus Variants ( 2nd worst offender lol) so many weapons got shafted that to this day I'm still wondering why where they done so dirty. 😑

Stories 2 as a whole deserved better ngl the game got the World treatment where half the roster is the exact same monster (fire/power moment) The update monsties were pretty garbage and didnt add anything to help players fight the increasingly unfair new monsters Oltura was a waste Hard Mode Fatalis exists and there's no DLC or Master Rank, which could've been huge for how much content you could add The entire game's lifecycle lasted less than a year

honestly, probably better you didn't play the first one. it's fun but it was very obviously trying to copy the previous games formula and screwed some of the characters. they did navirou dirty, and I was able to predict the ratha bossfight and the boss's attacking twice in one turn before I was even halfway through. the constant similarities between the first and second games frustrated me to no end and while oltura was cool they were very clearly trying to copy the feeling of versa pietru and makili pietru looming over you. seriously, you're better off experiencing this game first cause the original was so much better in many ways. though I do appreciate that cheval still carries his deceased mother's shell mirror.

well maybe, maybe not. but this is just my opinion, but there was still things I liked in 2 like the character and their visible struggles throughout but at the same time there was a reason the first game has you as the star child and that's because you're essentially a reincarnated hero (at least how I understand it). anyway, they are releasing stories 1 on switch soon if I remember correctly.
