You know if these things existed in real life it would actually be kind of terrifying to stand next to them. Monster Hunter monsters are so large that if they really existed all those "Could you beat x in a fight" questions would end up being a flat out NO for 95% of monsters. I mean you are at eye level with that thing, it's like being next to a bison, which is terrifying considering what bison in real life do to people who get that close to them.

Even Velociprey are the size of utahraptors, the biggest dromaeosaurid dinosaur. That makes them as tall as and over twice the length of polar bears .

@@leilaclarridge5807 Don't even get me started on the carrier ants which according to the measurements in Monster Hunter World can range from 22-25 cm. That is terrifyingly large for an ant, for reference the largest ant on Earth, the Giant Amazonian Ant gets to be about 3 to 4 centimetres long.

@@leilaclarridge5807 The normal rank and file fanged wyverns from World like Jagras and Shamos are a little bigger than the absolute largest real world extinct big cats and normal girros are quite a bit bigger than maximum estimates for megalania

@@user-uz2ed7zt3q The world of Monster Hunter is basically one of nothing but what we would call megafauna on our world. African elephants would be considered small monsters taken down with a couple of hits from a Greatsword.
