Man they might have removed instant SAED but added a lot of combo options for AED and Guard Point, and the fact savage axe makes your phials last longer instead of consuming them really bumps up the aggressiveness of the weapon.

rolling would be fine if I time it right. it was just me playing poorly due to panic (since the rng was pretty nice so far so I get all tense up) and overall my inexperience playing with the thorn bush. thanks for the suggestion though

I really wish they'd keep the old ED1 as the standing version while the new Rushing ED1 can replace the forward+B input. Seeing that running animation while not moving is kinda jarring, also Axe Mode no longer has a poke attack for quick punishes

It depends a lot on the monster, if their shell is too hard your sword will bounce so then you will need to charge the sword

Charged sword gains minds eye and phial damage. Use as needed.
