This is Lizzie Armanto.
She’s the only female to land Tony Hawk’s infamous 360 loop, the first female to be featured on the cover of Transworld Skateboarding and she’s looking to get back on top at X Games Skateboard park. This quirky park skater bears a competitive spirit that fuels her passion to consistently push the boundaries and make strides within her journey as a skateboarder.

Lizzie Armanto (and others) was beaten by a Hiroki Kokona (10years) at Vans Series 10 days ago. Rayssa leal (11years) has already arrived first at one or two SLS before full of pro in her twenties. I'm in a hurry to see a generation of women who grew up with skateboarding and worked hard to earn a real pro title to the point of being able to compete with men, without being applauded for tricks that everyone throws, but thanks for motivating these people Lizzie. We finally arrive at this time. No longer need the "only" girls who skate.

If you just started, don't try any tricks yet until your completely comfortable just riding around. Then learn to Ollie, and frontside/backside 180 before you kickflip

not gonna lie, just got back into skating after 18 years. and got me my deck ive dreamt of having since a kid, the 'Bloody Nose' deck by zero, and got some pads today so i can hit the verts. The pads i got happend to be Lissie Armanto inspired, and godsdamn, the pads look dope. The name on the pads got me to look more into this modern skater chic and holy shit, she shreds.

I could relate to the notion of wanting to turn pro without knowing what it entails. I think it is torturous just going out and practicing and playing and coming home and just looking at a poster. That was my experience with soccer. With skateboarding it was all about shredding to me. I never thought I could devote the time needed to compete because the pros were so talented. At 46 years old I know why that is a falsehood. The industry needs role models and examples to move the sport further. I just liked to shred?
