Excellent!!!! I love the way you included stopping your progress and psyched yourself back into doing it !! I have a much much smaller Monstera that was a gift and it looks like I have three separate growths and have been thinking about splitting them into several plants and you have massively increased my confidence and positivity about the process. You are natural in your process and come across really well and I cannot effectively express how much help you’ve been to me! I look forward to subscribing and checking out more of your videos. You deserve a comment and acknowledgment of a great video. All the best from the U.K and keep posting!!!!

I am sitting here taking a break from repotting my plants today when your video popped up in my feed. You're hilarious without really trying! I just up-potted my MD and I was going to divvy her up, but I still have a lot of baby leaves. I bought the plant in November and I, literally, only have 2 or 3 leaves that look like a true MD. I'm thinking because she was so rootbound that her leaves weren't splitting. We shall see! Your plant collection is so choice! Newly subbed, too. CHEERS! ☺✌🏼

😭💕💕✨ thanks so much for watching!!! I have some small monsteras that are over a year old and they also haven’t made any split leaves yet, but ones I’ve placed in brighter light got the split leaves faster. I’ve noticed that I think it really helps to put it in as bright indirect light as possible. I’m sure the repotting will help too! 😊✨

I know no one asked for my opinion but here I give it anyways lol. So just something that I do instead of using perlite that I find works amazing for all my plants is using small white or any color Aquarian gravel. make sure you rinse the gravel first a few times to get the gunk off then add to your regular soil mixture it works so so much better than perlite I find. Just thought I’d let you know from one plant parent to another.

I need to repot my HUGE babies but am scared to death because they are growing every which way and are just insanely full of stems. Wow a 15 year old monstera😍!! That’s amazing 🤩 My monsteras are doing great! The main plant that I tried to preserve has grown 2 new huge leaves since this video and showed no signs of shock after the repotting. The other 2 plants are in kind of a lower light spot in my apartment so they’re not growing as fast...one has put out a new leaf that is currently unfurling and the other grew a sad little leaf that’s not doing great but I’m sure it will grow new leaves eventually. I’m really glad I separated them 😁 Good luck with yours!!✨

I have this idea of having a huge, sprawling Monstera in the corner of my room, and I'm considering getting 3 of the Monsteras from the store (about 65% smaller than yours, and then maybe using a 35 gallon hexagon aquarium with drainage holes drilled in the bottom and putting all three in there. I can't find videos of people consolidating Monsteras, but if the pot was big enough, is there any reason it's inherently inadvisable to put them all together? If it is possible, I'm also considering buying a cutting from a giant Monstera online and maybe putting it in the middle, so once it finally grows it'll start shooting off some giant leaves as well, would this step _also_ be possible? I know this is a really specific, speculative question but you seem like you have lots of experience with big pots and obvious Monsteras so I figured I'd try to get your opinion if I could. Thank you so much!
