Maaan, I'm starting to think that you could just plant some grass, make a video of different types of watering, and I would still enjoy it ^^

The first video of this encouraged me to buy some seeds! I sowed them last week in a mix of spag, coir, and soil. They are already starting to grow their roots. I was so excited to see this update

These plants grow great attaching to wood or cement or brick walls. They need the first 2-3 roots to kind of feel out that they're against a stable structure and then they start latching out. It's a myth that it needs to be wet/moist for the roots to latch on.

I bet you live in Louisiana or Florida 🤣

I've got very low humidity but I can try rooting them on dry wood
@komalthecoolk2 жыл бұрын
@@TechplantChannel from my experience the younger the plant, the better and the plant needs to be tied to the wood. They need to know it's a stable structure

I want to see an experiment with a moss pole and a regular stake but have it secured well…if it feels just as secure wouldn’t it grow the same? Or is it the fact that the root has something to really grab onto and is also getting water and nutrients from the moss…

Do you use bottom heating and how warm do you keep your seedlings in general?

I bought a baby monstera and it's JUST NOW starting to put out fenestrated leaves. It's about 2ish years old, it's huge though, but it really must be the moss poles. I was thinking it was finally doing it bc it got old enough, but it's probably the pole I put in with it. Damn.
@TechplantChannel2 жыл бұрын
Nice work! I hope the pole helps yours get those big leaves!
@janm.3782 Жыл бұрын
Is this one getting the White texture on the leaves or is it just the "normal" Monstera? I want to grow up a Monstera Deliciosa Variegata. Nice content, thanks.

Why don’t we put a sapling in a big 18*18 inch pot ,so we don’t have to repot it every year, As Many people recommend to repot a plant in a pot only one size bigger than previous one, can you please let me know why it is so?

@@TechplantChannel this one has never flowered which always made me a little suspicious, as of now it looks exactly like your monsteras prior to producing fenestrations. It's been producing bigger leaves lately and I just noticed a tiny root poking through the most recent stem!
