I think Hexed mean effected by a debuff spell, they are called hex in their discription, right on the top.

i think he does have hoard mechanics at least for his main army (speculation so who knows) but it'll be vampire coast style where they still have normal settlements

Hexed is another words for debuff. At 37:43 you hover over _Miasma of Pestilence_ and it states the type of spells it is. Still prefer the original mechanics tbh.

i have always found toads quite useful...i just use them to flank so they wont charge out past where you want them...

If i recall from the Nurgle blog post, they changed the factions in battle army abilities bar thing from take damage to enemies being affected by debuffs, i'm hoping thats what the 'hex' thing attached to the cultists summon is, so that being near enemies that are poisoned and the like would charge it.

As someone who recently did a Kugath campaign can I just say who weird it is watching a non-modded Nurgle campaign where you have the money to upgrade your buildings in the early game. Probably doesn't help that my early Nurgle game is a sacking economy but still its weird.

I dont know if its just my opinion but the tally of pestilence seems kinda weak, on account of nurgle not having much in the way of mass spreading their plagues, i could be wrong of course but its just an opinion.

I’m sure you know this and are limited by the infections you have, but Epidemius benefits most from spreading as many plagues as possible (regardless of quality). Spam them on enemies. I remember how much you enjoyed spreading plagues as Skrolk in TWW2.

Just theorycrafting over here. Could you use Nurgle Forsaken as flanking infantry early game? I think their speed is the same as other Forsaken and faster than almost anything Nurgle has.

The hexed unit within range refers to someone suffering from a debuff of some kind. I think poison counts for this?

How're you finding the nurgle changes so far. They're looking pretty good from the outside.

It's absolutely better, but adv military buildings do take something like almost 50 turns to fully cycle. You can rush it obviously but that seems insane considering a game tends to end around turn 150-200

the reason that exalted plague bearers are similar to normal ones are that in theory Nugle is a god of equality. father Nurgle accepts everyone in to his embrace. or Games workshop just got lazy.

Always thought it was more the idea of "stagnation" and hence, stagnant character designs. The exalted plague bearers look similar as they're not meant to deviate too much from Nurgle's original design of them (Kinda like how great unclean ones are just big nurglings). Obviously though Games workshop could have done it a better way.

I found the Plague Toads very useful in my recent Kugath campaign. AP, anti-large and high mass was perfect when dealing with Greasus - their weird movement and poison kept most ogre units from disentangling effectively. Sending them to fight low armour infantry was not a good idea however, aside from rear charges. They were also quite useful for absorbing Dwarven blasting charges by charging ahead of your infantry, working as an AP support. So they are really not that useful until mid-game, when enemy stacks consists of more stuff than just infantry.
