Join us for the Grand Opening of Montana Tech’s SAP® Next-Gen Lab on Friday, October 20 at 3:00 pm on campus in Engineering Hall, Rm 102.
The lab gives Montana Tech the distinction of having one of only 13 Next-Gen Labs in the nation. Montana Tech students like Kylie Godfrey in this video have the opportunity to use SAP, which leads the world in enterprise resource planning systems, serving over 300,000 organizations in 190 countries. 87% of the Forbes Global 2000 companies use SAP and 75% of the world’s transaction revenue touches an SAP system. Montana Tech is the only university in the state officially designated an SAP University Alliance. Our business students use analytical applications that equip them with valuable skills for the digital age. In a hands-on, experiential learning environment, our students collaboratively analyze complex data sets, gaining skills that enable them to tackle business challenges, make data-driven recommendations and drive informed decision making.
All are invited to attend the grand opening which will start with brief opening remarks including comments from Tom Wilder, Executive Director of the SAP University Competency Center at California State University. Students will provide demonstrations in the lab, and a reception will follow at 4:00 pm in the Copper Lounge.
