Nice!!! I'd have to go thirty or fifty miles North to find the edge of where the glaciers once extended. I'd be impressed with a little chunk of jasper or an interesting piece of granite, even. No agates around here, as far as I know. 😔🙁

It is my theory that when you are rockhounding by yourself, and Theo and the others aren't anywhere around, you have the secret places that you go that hide the truly incredible agates. All of that yellow white and blue in this video is mesmerizing. Just like you! 😉

Today's finds seem MUCH more colorful than many of your agate finds!! Congrats!! Also...I noticed that the "skin" on agates and jasper has a similar appearance to HUMAN skin...those little lines that criss cross all over the surface! Any idea why?

That "crust" is what we look for when looking for jasper/agate. We call it "agate skin!" It's how the silica/minerals look after they harden millions of years ago. 😉

Man you always find the best stuff! That one at 6:50 looks like a high quality fairburn agate! I think Fairburns are overrated. They’re definitely cool but I’ve seen lots of similar stuff from other places 🤷🏻♂️

Well, that was a great day, but where was Chopper? I don't think I've seen anyone pull that many TSAs in one outing before and it seemed like they all had that orange & white creamsicle coloration thing going on. Maybe you've found a "zone".

We've been to the Yellowstone rock hunting several times, the problem is we can never find good access to the river and gravel. Where do you go to get down to the gravel and river?
