Yes. I think they meant that ijekavica is uniformly used in Montenegro, while other variants are used in different parts of Croatia (like ikavica in Dalmatia, ekavica in Zagorje, etc.)

@@jrmc732 The immigrants in Netherlands is usually smaller than the Dutch people. Dutch people are the tallest in the world. From what I've seen the immigrants in Montenegro are smaller then Montenegrins.

Montenegro (serbs originally) are by far the tallest..the official numbers just put netherlands first because older balkan generations went thru starvation. An avg 18yr balkan makes an avg 18yr old dutch look like a midget. And a skinny midget. Im dutch and I just visited Serbia.

The new generation in the capital is mostly western and different from the older generation and the people in smaller towns

Should be called national attire not a "costume". I know that term ends up getting used alot especially in the U S and by English Anglo western European decent people /English speakers, however it is time to change that . Native American traditional dress is often referred to as "regalia " as they take offense to their cultural attire being referred to as a "costume" . So it's time to change that language pattern especially when it's aimed at those of us from what the English still refer to as "the lower" balkan states . They can throw out the term "costume" along with the term "balkanization " also . Another term coined by an English journalist.

Most English people do not think they are superior to anyone. Our country is in a mess and we have no room to feel superior to anyone. I agree though, costume makes it sound like dressing up.

I think it's just that the term "costume" in English has changed/expanded over the years. Nowadays you only hear about "costumes" in the context of Halloween or Mardi Gras, but the older, more traditional meaning (nošnja) is still also used.

As a guy who was born and raised for a few years in Cetinje , I can tell you that on 5:40 is quite wrong.. Everyone is welcome in Cetinje. He meant that if you do not support or respect Montenegro and its history. Especially if you deny it is Montenegro and besides that you live in it, then you are not welcome in Cetinje. Basically 90% of people who go to LITIJE think like this guy. The thing about GASER is not right as well, all the guys from Cetinje that I know are very well-mannered and cultured. They are true patriots, but for many reasons. It only bothers the uninitiated . Love your own , respect the other's. Great video by the way , love it ! Greetings from Montenegro.

They are pro Serbian, with mind that Montenegro doesnt have its own history . Litija started when goverment made a new law , every church needed to have proof that thoose people who own it nowdays have builded the same. If you dont have proof that you build it, then you need to give it back . And more then a 80% of Serbian churches doesnt have those papers and proofs so they called people on the streets to make protests . @@ivan.jeremic
