First of all, as a recovering Hellcat addict, black professional, I’d say this: Cars are NOT an investment. If you’re not debt free & owning your own home w/positive equity, DO NOT look at any Hellcat. Financial advisors state that your car’s purchase price should be 10-25% at most of annual pretax income. That means to buy a RedEye you should be debt free in a home with positive equity, no other debt, and 300-450k annual income.🤔

@That V8 Life Lol at this mindset. If more people followed Leonard's advice, then we wouldn't have $1.5T in auto loan debt that is absolutely decimating most people's personal finances. If your situation is as you say it is (which I doubt) then you are the exception and not the rule. Congrats to you, but don't discourage people from making sound financial decisions. Also, to tie up hundreds of thousands of dollars in cars that depreciate and require maintenance, gas and insurance isn't the achievement you think it is. There's a such thing as opportunity cost, and you're missing out on a lot of potential return on your dollar.

You didn't mention the LIMITED miles per year on the car. This is why your payments are lower ( I'm oversimplifying ) because your payments are based on the residual value at the end of the lease. The 8k on top of the ( projected ) residual value is key to why your payments are lower. It's a nice ride though........

@@Chris-so6db I don't know your financials; I special ordered my Challenger WB Scat; I thought about getting a WB Hellcat but I didn't trust myself to stay disciplined when driving such a powerful car. If you can afford it then do it because I ENJOY my Scat WB immensely and I don't mind that I get 11 miles to the gallon; it's not my daily. My brother rolls a Mustang GT Premium; it's the best looking Mustang I've ever seen and he got a nail in the sidewall of his tire; the replacement cost was $606.00 for one tire which included taxes, balancing, alignment and disposal fee so out of curiosity I asked what the replacement cost would be for one ( 1 ) of my Pirelli P Zero 305 and the cost........drum roll....$749.00 so keep this in mind. This is not a big deal to me because I bought a warranty that's good for the next five years and is fully transferable on a prorated basis.
