I like the food at Beijing but not keen on the service. I end up ordering as takeout or go to P&M on St. Catherine in the petite asie area between Atwater and Guy.

they had the best char siu place but last summer i went down and the place was closed because of some construction. It was around viger and st laurent.. but anyways, im near cote-des-neiges and we have some really good spot around here for char siu. They also got a great restaurant for duck around there.. I dunno chinatown used to have some really good spots.. but these days, i dunno.

If you are lactose intolerant, instead of bubble tea there are milk less options like fruit slushes made with actual fruit, fruit teas etc… that you can order with the tapioca pearls or jellies.😊

Haven't gone in years. For asian food, la Petite Asie région on Ste Catherine West of Guy has taken over these past 15 years. Two sides of the street of doortodoor asian restaurants and the OG, Nouilles Star, has been there 35+ years.

Thanks for the video on MTL Chinatown as our 2 daughters are in Concordia & McGill - will visit during the cold month of December for Christmas-New Year!! We live in Zurich, CH and boy it is 5x more expensive!! Anyway, in Malaysia/SW Asia, the dragon candy is just called "floss" haha!

December's a great time to visit with the holiday lights and markets. And I wasn't aware Montreal was easier on the wallet compared to Zurich , Enjoy your trip and the "floss"! 😀
