Yes, they do. In fact, Everything Changes, All the Time. I can still clearly remember, and when it was written, and when I was a young man, this used to be a joke. Welcome to the Asylum of The Now.

I love this bit. I am a HUGE supporter of LGBT rights, however this sketch points out how sometimes, lets be honest, it can get kind of confusing, and dare I say , maybe even a little ridiculous
@spikeep61416 жыл бұрын
The whole notion of "LGBT rights" *is* ridiculous - it's meant to be ridiculous. It's a joke. It's more than just a joke, it's a Satire, and a Satire is the highest and most sophisticated form of curse in the Bardic Tradition of Magick - the difference between Parody and Satire is contained within the fact that the intent of Parody is to use mockery and ridicule to diminish and deflate the authority and esteem of the target through imitation and exaggeration, which may change their character and behaviour by causing them to experience shame or embarrassment sufficient for them to want to no-longer be like that, OR to cancel out and nullify the intended target by profane inversion, in the hopes of cancelling them out or undoing whatever it is that they do - thus, a Black Mass is the Satanic parody of the High Latin Mass of the Catholic Church, with everything done backwards and back-to-front, with all of it's polarities reversed. Whereas, with a Satire, as with any curse, you are imposing the mockery and laughter upon the target of the ridicule *in order to cause them to become like that* (unless and until the curse is lifted) - it runs in the opposing direction, relative to 'Time', with the effect being described and depicted in full by it's initial cause, as in the case of the most famous (and effective) Satire in popular literature, 1984, as soon as it was written and published (in 1948) gradually began to manifest, until by the time the year 1984 rolled along, it was far along the process towards accurately and precisely describing the nature and character of material social reality which, by now, it absolutely does.

When I first went to university, they was on campus a highly active LGB society, funded by the students' union. And it was run and lead by the most closed-minded, backward, intolerant reactionary fascists not just in the university, but in the entire city - and from the few contacts I ever had with them, in laising with them and their Central Committee on behalf of other student societies or associations I was involved with, I found I had to contend with some of the most petty, cliquey, vile, vindictive, catty and malignant narcissitic jerks I have ever come across in my entire life, before or since. And they were all being totally used against their own interest to harm themselves, and their own community, or rather peer-group, the complete idiots that they were. This is common. It's standard practice. By the time I left, just three years later, it had rebranded itself (much like Kentucky Fried Chicken) as the LGBT Committee - not because any Transvestites ( "Transgender" didn't exist yet, back in those days) had been elected to the Central Committee and established a caucus or power base as an influential minority faction on the Committee and insisted on imposing the change, because they found it desirable, but because The Culture surrounding the University, the Student body and the LGB Society had changed around them, and so they were told to, and so they did. They did what was expected and required of their Political Identity grouping of cohorts that they should do, at that time, immediately, and they did. They complied. *Promptly.* After first having revised T to stand for "Transgendered" and not "Transvestite" (which is now apparently something that you are no-longer allowed to be, they don't exist anymore and have any rights, because their Political Identity has been abolished as now invalid and regressive by The Centre, that is now something that you are not any more allowed to be), they then proceeded to add yet one more letter to the acronym every 5 years, beginning with "Q" for "Questioning" - which is a slightly more exotic and colourful synonym for "Confused", or "Unsure", which to my mind implies or intends to suggest either, "I Don't Yet Concretely Know for Certain What My Sexual Identity Is (and it might be goats or little children, since I am not ruling anything out yet), But Insist That You Pre-Approve and Accept My Choices and Personal Preferences in Advance Without Knowing What They Are" or "I Demand The Absolute Right Not to Have Any Real Clue Who or What I Am, and Command Your Absolute Respect for My Personal Exercise of My Right to be Utterly Incurious About Myself, Shallow, Non-Commital and Spiritually Lazy" - in other words, it is a demand for respect that recognises absolutely no effort, investment or commitment to doing any kind of work myself towards achieving any kind of resolution to the question of the biases and preferences of that person's sexual and erotic appetite(s).
