The steppe? Do you mean the boring and enervating steppe?

Wow, thanks you took us 👍💙 - Highway 163 goes through a fantastic land, no wonder it's sacred for the Navajo! The rocks look like ruins of some mysterious ancient structures, marvelous !!

My precious memories! The first trip from Kayenta to Monument Valley to Mexican Hat was with my husband. The second trip was with my dearest friend, Ann. This video brings such sweet memories. My husband died in 2021 from effects of cancer. Six months later, my best friend died in a terrible automobile accident. I have tears in my eyes as I remember. Thank you for this video. ❤ edited…I am disappointed that you didn’t take the pull-off to show the Mexican Hat formation.

Great video, thanks for posting. And ignore the negative comments that may post. You were driving at the right speed. No need to race down that road. It's known for its scenic views. Hope to take that detour soon and see it for myself!

Its important to have good cellphone in this region because coverage can get somewhat sketchy at times in case of an emergency
