MONUMENT VALLEY Travel Guide

Monument Valley provides the most enduring images of the American West. The Monument Valley is located within the Navajo Nation on the border of Arizona and Utah.
It is characterized by a cluster of vast sandstone buttes, the largest reaching 300 meters above the valley floor.
In the 1930s, John Ford started filming Westernized movies here, launching the landscape into international fame. The valley has been the backdrop for many movies and advertisements and is a major tourist attraction.

I grew up in rainy dark England in the 60s and 70s, watching westerns on tv. This place is etched into my memories. I'd love to visit before I finally croak.

Hermoso ,místico y sublime lugar, nos hospedamos en Goulding lodge para ver el amanecer, bello!!!,quiero regresar una ves más y recorrer el Valle pues,solo fuimos de pasada y de alguna manera se siente un tipo de energia mística,Se los recomiendo, visiten el lugar,además que es un gran apoyo para la gente Navajo.

Been to Monument Valley many times. Once took a Red Hat, Fake Beard an made a Video of me Doing the Forest Gump "Think I'll Go Home" scene. People Were Stopping an Watching me Do it, then a Groupe of Japanese Asked if they Could Use My Hat an Beard for their Own Fun Video. One Hour Later, after Some Russians, Hispanics an Australians had used them, I Finally just Left my Hat an Beard with the Line of People still Wanting to use them, an I just Left. 🤣
