That’s not just you, the last couple of albums have been mixed terribly. You can’t hear the guitars at all. Guitar is my main focus in all the music I listen to and I still feel like this is the first time I’ve actually heard these riffs.

@@Thepoweroftheriffcompelsme ive been thinking the same thing, im glad im not alone, im also listening to prog metal mainly for the guitar The mixes are not the best, especially in nefarious but also the other albums the guitar parts doesnt really shine through, and when the vocals come in i can hardly hear the guitar parts at all, so yea for my taste the mix isnt really good if you for example compare it with periphery mixes, then thats another world completely (especially from the “guitar in the mix” standpoint)

Haven’t listened to monuments much tbh and wasn’t a huge fan of this one at first, but usually I look at guitar covers just to see if the riffs kinda spark my dopamine receptors a bit lmao and this is definitely one of those cases. Dude, your channel is revolutionizing my playing... Along with the fact that I just bought my first 7 string a couple months ago. I'm literally trying to learn 10 songs at once right now because I can't decide on what I want to focus on. There is an unbelievable amount of good music out there when it comes to 7 strings and you are a channel of the purest, heaviest, and best music that anyone could possibly want to play... I mean, SHIT MAN. My adhd has me trying to learn everything at once! And you tab everything out, like holy shit. I want to give you a fuckin high five at this point! I just bought a music man JP15 about 8 months ago and it's just been fucking lonely now! I have all of my other guitars tuned for straight metal and I just can't stop learning! Conquering dystopia / Jeff Loomis has been blowing my mind, I've been TRYING to learn tethys and the ultimatum but FUCKIN HELL IS THAT SHIT HARD. I was curious if you've covered any of his music but shit, I don't see any and I can't blame you! Going to take me a year to be able to play those and a month just to memorize them at half speed! Lmao. You're a hero man! Keep doing what you do!
