I liked the Moog Werkstatt-01 so much I bought a second one before they sold out. A real Moog at such a low price cant be beat. Next I plan to get a Moog Mavis. I don't know if you have one or not but the Korg NTS-1 is the best value musical device you can buy IMO. Even if just using it for its effects alone it's still worth it. It's the only digital device I have. Everything else is analog

One thing I hear that I really like is that the filter seems to have a vocal-like quality. It gives all of the sounds an extra pleasant tone. I enjoyed the video! Nice sounds and presentation.

That filter is (to me) one of the main selling points, it sounds so good. And the CV expander lets you route other gear through it, I might have to do a video trying it out on other synths. And thank you!

It's a very versatile instrument. While some of the sounds he generated I didn't much care for it can do just about anything. From really deep lows to higher frequencies than I can hear and everything in between.

It sounds really good. Sort of like the Mother-32. It has a lot of limitations but it has the classic Moog filter and is a great inexpensive way to experiment with the basic concepts of analog synthesis. I think you are hearing the distortion that seems to be caused by the signal clipping for some reason. It doesn’t sound that way in person.

@@ericMT I have 2 Werkstatt-01 and I think they sounds great. I don't regret buying them at all. At the time they were the most affordable Moogs for sale. Now your can't buy them new anymore.

I clickbait! These were indeed very fun Werkstatt patches! I'm pretty impressed because the other videos I'd seen on this box were when it was first released so all the beep-boopers showed off its simple beep-boops and didn't go much into depth. I forget if you mentioned this but does it allow external MIDI control?

The Werkstatt tuning is not very reliable as you move through the octaves so it is really hard to use as an extra osc

@@GaryMeadowsmustache Thanks! I tried with the Microbrute and it works quite good as long as you stay in the range of 1 or 2 octaves. With the Keystep the tuning is more reliable.
