I notice you had your NRS wet suit on for bass fishing, but do you fish with them in for all fishing(year round), or is it because of the cold we’re having? Don’t you get hot in it?

I can relate to what you demonstrated in your video. before the Pescador Pilot I had Ocean Kayak Prowler 4.7 and same type of hutch (just holder). I have firstly done the wiring as you but a guy told me it is pressing too much on it and I have listened and drilled a hole to pass it through. Maybe I should have told you once I saw your ff installation video. Anyhow, would you find a new power cable for the ff?

Yeah you need a backrest. I also have a thin closed cell foam seat cushion I purchased from Viking Kayaks. It doesn't hold water and just gives you that bit of comfort. Maybe it's the new paddle but your paddling technique looks much better.

Thank you for noticing 😁. I've been working on it. I still have a long way to go but it feels like I'm getting hang of the basics.

@@MooMooOutdoors You are getting a a more vertical angle on your catch and using core instead of the arms. Wing paddle is designed to move away from the Yak as you progress through the stroke - this seems to be easier with your new paddle. ( I am looking at buying a surfski so I have also been trying to improve my paddling technique too)

The Garmin fishfinders come with a cover for the cables where they pass through a bulkhead. I am going to run the cables through a hole on my Fusion 480 after watching this. You are paddling much better with that Bending Branches paddle than with the wing. I have one, and it is a great paddle. The Stealth boats are really at their best in the ocean. I have been fishing around Neah Bay, WA on my Fusion, and it has been great. No problem with waves, wind, or current. I ordered a Skwoosh expedition seat, because I need to be able to rest my thigh muscles. That seems to be the most tired place after a fishing trip.

Hey Moo, if you can, try installing a quick (one-handed) bungee clip of some kind to your stealth hatch and use those heavy duty stealth hatch lock down clips when going through surf. In my opinion they're not needed and a bit of a pain to undo/redo when you're out on the water. Using a simple bungee clip tie down won't damage your sounder cable like the heavy duty straps will 👍 you can see the bungee I've got on mine in this video I made of my setup. For me, everything goes inside my hatch when navigating the surf zone so my set up is fully removable without any holes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZa7pnyFmZdjjq8
