Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going all-in on the Disney Plus shows. From Wandavision, to Hawkeye, to Falcon and the Winter Soldier, they’re really pumping things out. The latest show on the slate was Moon Knight, starring Oscar Isaac as several versions of Oscar Isaac!
Moon Knight definitely raises a few questions. Like how much do we actually see Moon Knight in the Moon Knight how? How was it so easy for Harrow to convince the gods that he’s innocent? Why didn’t they just use an iPhone map to check the star map? When is death actually fatal in the MCU? Who knew it was that easy to escape from the afterlife?
To answer all these questions and more, step inside the Pitch Meeting that led to Moon Knight! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

@@Ambar42 Ah. Well to that I still say, sadly people do. Cinemasins is the example I have off the top of my head. In the Moana video he mocks the drum in the movie because “that barely looks like a drum.” Apparently assuming all of history has only had one kind of drum. So I also appreciate Ryan for apparently doing even some research into the religion, since a lot of it is less confusing with context, like the reed field and animal gods. Meanwhile Cinemasins can’t bother to research drums.

@@thedreamscripter4002 I'd love to see a one take scene, possibly also used in the trailer for season 2 (assuming we get season 2), where we get to see the entire fight between Jake Lockley and how he defeats Harrow and his men. The scene starts with Jake Lockley escaping from Harrow (while unmasked) and knocking Harrow to the ground as he gets to his feet. He turns to look at at Layla, as the hood manifests itself over Jake's head (we only get to see it from behind). The camera is now positioned over Moon Knight's shoulder, and we see him throw deadly projectiles from his cape at the men covering Layla, killing them instantly. The camera then moves towards Layla who manages to free herself, and turns to look at Moon Knight who is now beating up Harrow (similar to him beating up the Jackal in the first episode and trailer). He stops, and slowly turns around to reveal Jake Lockley's suit as the comic book black and white suit.

I would like to politely correct you on some of your wording on this video. 1. Marc doesnt have 'split personality', he has DID. 2. Steven isn't another personality, he's an Identity (hence the name of the disorder). Anyway, great video as always!

I feel like saying alter in that context is a lot more natural than 'identity', but otherwise yeah, and I'm so glad at least someone commented it...

@@sorry4710 Yeah, it would be but I wanted to clarify why its called DID now and why 'split personality' is harmful because Steven and Marc are not personalities. Honestly, I wish creators would do at least some research before making a video about something like that. Honest trailers also had a lot of misconceptions and also called Khonshu Marc's third personality which is blatantly false.

When Ryan started talking about talking to himself with himself, I had to pause the video because I was laughing so hard. It took my husband a sec to catch up. Self-referential humor is tight!
