Just did this one yesterday and it came out pretty good for the most part until I got down to the rock formations(1st attempt doing them). They came out so-so in my opinion but needs work for sure! LOL. Gotta go watch the video you made on those again. I get tripped up on where to put the highlights and shadows. My knife touch is nice and light, just need a better feel for what goes where! 😆 Thanks for all you share with this mud mixer Bram!!!

Use something round to draw a circle. Paint it with a brush you use to make bushes with. I have done one that way that looked real. Practice is the key.

Did you use white gesso and gray gesso

@@kentburk4493 Contact paper circle, then black gesso over the canvas. Remove and use a bit of grey and black gesso to make some moony areas.
