Thanks for answering my query about your *"Sooner or later all of the older stories are sooner or later about blood"* comment in the Santa Claus video, the way you explain it makes sense, especially when you mention sacrificing animals being a part of the feast. I feel you are doing a good job explaining your points, and I've seen bits of the Hogfather movie, though I should get around to reading the novel as I am sure it goes into more depth. I am curious if you have any channels on KZbin that you follow, either for fantasy, cryptid, scientific, or speculative ideas for inspiration, information, or simply out of curiosity and enjoyment. I know alot of channels (mainly the top 10 channels) don't go into depth given their format, but I am just curious if you consider your channel to be a peer to any others on the site. I really hope we get to see a "Ziz" alongside "Behemoth" and "Leviathan" in the Monsterverse Godzilla movies, especially since Ziz is so rarely seen in modern media, especially compared to Behemoth and Leviathan..

I am curious what those "chompy worm creatures" in the Kong movies are actually called you alluded to which began as parasitic creatures but became external predators through evolution. It makes sense since plenty of jawless fish (like hagfish and various eels) fill the niche of parasite and predator, some species even small enough to live inside larger organisms, but many larger species can fill the apex predator role in smaller lake and pond ecosystems. I am glad you mention the Hippogryph, it was my understanding that it came about from someone making a comical commentary on the Gryphon/Griffin/Griffon and its prey including horses. So the Hippogryph was used as a metaphor for something being impossible, since no predator would mate with its prey and produce viable offspring, such as a Gryphon mating with a Horse to produce a Hippogryph. So those who were familiar with the Hippogryph and its context would understand its usage being used to compare to impossible things. I am also glad you mentioned me again in the Retrovirus video, and I am eager to read Jurassic Park. I know it's a very different beast to the film since alot of the characters are different (John Hammond is far more scummy in the novel) and I would like to read and appreciate the novel on its own merits. TreyTheExplainer made a very good (albeit outdated) video on the scientific accuracy of the Jurassic Park movie, and how alot of the science in that movie is inaccurate, like how Toad DNA is used as a buffer to fill in the holes in the Dinosaur DNA...Even though a Bird would be a far better match since Birds ARE dinosaurs. And stuff like alot of the Dinosaurs being based on outdated depictions, though in line with most ley people's understandings of dinosaurs, even then the vast majority of Dinosaur scientists had a more up to date understanding of Dinosaurs than was depicted in that movie.
