In 1995 I was in middle school, and found a local game store that sold GW stuff among other things, I was into X-men comics and cards, and had started getting into MTG a bit heavier and playing it... wish I hadn't given away all my MTG cards in the early 2000s as I had a bunch from the first 3 or 4 sets and also the expansions up through the late 1990s...some of the early stuff would have been worth a bit years later. In 1996 I got into Warhammer and got the 5th edition starter set... ended up trading the Brettonian models to someone from the store to get their set of Lizardmen, and collected a Lizzardmen army. That store closed and I didn't really have people to play with any more, but I don't remember Mordheim being a thing then. I got back into wargaming and minis about 2005 or 2006 with Warmachine as Mk2 was coming out, and 40K 4th ed was ending so I got some models and waited for Prime Mk2 and then got the 40K Black Reach set to start 40K(2 sets actually)... Would love to see GW try another Mordheim as I'm more into skirmish sized games right now, but not really AoS... but I also see why some folks want them to leave it alone, so maybe a rerelease of a new rulebook, some new models, but leave the game and it's rules mostly alone....or not even changed at all... just a reprint, a new starter with some terrain releases maybe, and new models...

mordheim is already in a nice place, making minis for it would be nice and re releasing the rules in a book would be nice as like a colectors item in a way but re working the rules would probably piss people off

I'd be happy if gw made mordhiem 2.0 if and only if it's the specialist design studio doing it. ToW, and BB are amazing games in their own rights and we could get a fantasy necromunda out of it. Warcry gets to be the fast, mainstream skirmish game and mordhiem gets to be the crunchy narrative one.

First ❤ well done. Now mordheim was released in 99 the comet was due on the millennium and was a goofy joke with year 2000 arriving. You did a great job selling space battle. I'm not sure new mordheim would really pull so many people from frostgrave. Aren't they like 9nth age Warhammer players, mad with GW forever ? But I wish they don't. Let people play other skirmish games 😂

I'd rather trust Mordheim (and many Warhammer specialist games) being cared for by the community than GW at this point.
