I remember i had a zhu zhu pets game on the ds. I was easily pleased as a child so what I say may not be perfectly correct, but I remember enjoying it and thinking it was fun. Was an entirely different game to the wii one, where you had to go through mazes to collect stuff and collect and look after a collection of the hamsters

Holy shit I got that ZhuZhu Pets game way back when it was new!! The ZhuZhu it included was totally functional if my memory serves, I packed all my old ZhuZhu pet stuff away a long time ago ahah. This was one of the first games I had actually completely finished when I was younger :,,)

It's worth it for its bizarre and bizzarely self-aware story alone. If you don't wanna play it, at least look up lucahjin's Let's Play of it--she and ProtonJon played through the ENTIRE game to completion, and it just needs to be seen to be believed.

I still have that Zhu Zhu Pets game. I got it as a first grader for Christmas I believe. I 100% it except for one star in like 3-3 or something and I kept trying to get it forever. (I suspect it’s bc of the bad level design)

I actually have some fond memories of America's Next Top Model (though I use fond loosely). My sister got this game when we were younger, and after (quickly) dismissing it, our neice eventually got into it. She also couldn't do the catwall so every time she came over and played that game, she'd pull me out of whatever I was doing so I could do the catwalk for her (and admittedly I was pretty damn good at it).

Technically Griffin isn't the main character of the movie, that would be Hayden Christensen's character. Griffin is more like a secondary antagonist who's also a jumper. The action scenes involving him are maybe the only good parts of the movie, and I hate that I had this much to say about Jumper

The Wii was plagued with shovelware in the US and in retrospect, the system shouldn't have sold as well as it did. Shame that garbage like this was given the okay to appear on the Wii and yet Nintendo of America didn't have the balls to publish the Operation Rainfall trio in the US themselves, they had to rely on XSEED games to publish the other two and don't even get me started on what they did to the Fatal Frame 2 remake. Between that and relegating Maiden of Black Water to digital only in North America? That alone killed whatever love I had for the Wii brand name, beyond glad it was shelved and that the Switch is kicking serious ass.

from what i've heard the vast majority of the Wii sales came from places like retirement homes buying them up in bulk, so not as many consumers owned Wiis like you'd think, hence why M-rated titles tended to sell pretty poorly on there.
