I love that in the age of KZbin algorithms, catchy click bait titles, and over the top thumbnails, Andrew's channel is thriving with a simple title, snapshot thumbnail, and just straight up good content and amazing work ethic. I was impressed by Andrew setting the steel with the drone. We have entered a new era, with the drone. Up until now, two or three were required to set steel with a crane. It is likely in the next 20 years that only one crane operator will do this with the assistance of the drone.

This is one of my all-time favorite KZbin channels. I’m sure there are other channels welding I-beams and probably putting up skyscrapers and what-not, but it’s more, “personal” with Andrew. My dad lives in Melbourne but works in Port Headland driving iron ore trucks in the mines i was worried for him but luckily hes over in my state working so he's away from all of that for now. Other than that farmers have lost livestock sadly and just recently a crew of two or three died as their truck overturned on its side while in the fire and went up in flames. I was prying those panels away from each other and it broke. Its good after fixing it though.
@cra45125 жыл бұрын
@@AndrewCamarata Totally not your fault. Yea you fixed it, and that is a testament of how hard you work and how you deserve everything good that happens to you. Essential Craftsman - being the uber blacksmith he is, could take it as a challenge to make a persuader that even Andrew cant break. That would be interesting... and great you tube.

Andrew Thankyou for the great videos over the years. Great to see that you are completing your dream castle. Perhaps there will be a queen to share in the future. All the best for the Christmas and new year season. Take care and thankyou again from Australia.

Your channel has been such an inspiration that I've gone from just a worker to the dude who welds the forklift himself when something breaks, who slams a mirror on the truck and instead of ordering a new overpriced one that me or someone else breaks I fix it myself etc. That being said; I'm now heavily underpaid at my current job :D

Andrew, you may not want to flow fresh concrete into the holes of the other. You should instead, fill the holes with some kind of filler material and then use felt paper between the two. Each one needs to expand and contract separately from each other, or else the new pour may crack.
@davidlopata75325 жыл бұрын
Not may crack, will crack!
@throngcleaver5 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure that concrete is already poured...

You are right, there will be a deflection differential between the two dissimilar elements and they need to be able to move independent of each other. Hollow cores will deflect more than the cast in place concrete.
