For those of you lucky enough (lol) to have waterless urinals like me... I learned after a while that putting water down them is the worst thing you can do. The water reacts with the urine concentrate and forms calcium that clogs up the filter and makes a horrible stink. The only product that should go down them is an enzyme cleaner. My routine for the waterless urinals is lightly wet a rag with water, spray some enzyme on it, and then spritz some in each urinal then wipe down the partitions/walls by the urinals if they have splashes on them, and then the urinal. I went from having smell problems to no problems

I doodlebug mop pad is good to clean and disinfectant the walls around urinals.If you can get it order Lysol Foam cleaner.It’s perfect for the walls and under sinks.Yes,I use toilet bowl cleaner that I throw down the drains that I have in my Johnny pail.Also,I put fragrance in my mop bucket and I have a spray.I spray before I start mopping the bathrooms.I don’t have any problems with smells.Even my mop smells nice

We don’t mop with disinfectant :/ it’s just a neutral cleaner.

Jeff I actually work with a custodian at my school every day we usually pick up the trash and check the toilets and some of the school kids put water bottles in the toilet in and they overflow I’m thinking wtf is wrong with them doing that it makes it hard on us custodians lol

I have a question: When you spray the disinfectant on the fixtures, does it leave any residue? The disinfectant I use is a Pur-O-Zone spray disinfectant, and it often leaves residue. Any tips?

Mercy I have had so many over the years. I guess poop walls. I had a whole turd about 8 long stuck on the wall with finger grip marks left to make sir it stuck. Block walls are the worst. Poop get stuck in pours of block.

I’m a new custodian and I’m frustrated with cleaning the toilets. I’m having trouble making sure it gets clean I’m part of the nightshift so I don’t have to deal with the the messes of during the day normally.

Does anyone know how to bring back old bathroom counter tops? They are blue look like a vinyle plastic type? Water stains that has discoloration. Seems baby oil works for a day.

@@mrjeffthecustodian the littler kids just probably drop them in haphazardly/carelessly. The older ones do it for more mischievous persons. You can tell when they’re also crammed into the overflow . Either way adds an extra half hour of cleaning up water everywhere

I just started last Thursday but only helped out with setting up the gymnasium as a vaccination location. I did take some pictures of a few of the stuff they use like uni-kleen, medi-zap 128 ndc and Lemon order disinfectant cleaner. Does anyone else use these products? I really would appreciate any tips and tricks of how to use them

I wish I was good with kids like you are..i am doing the whole anti-social scary menacing cleaner role since the vibe of the school seems to be to kind of bark and herd all the kids where they need to be so I play my role as being too nice can come across as pedophile-y lol idk some days in Mr nice happy friendly cleaner other days I'm the silent quiet creepy cleaner.. yeah it's weird.. We have a few special kids too that cause trouble very naughty kids and man those ones are hard to deal with they just don't listen and don't stop moving. All the best to ya your school looks disciplined and harmless which is good.
