could have protected that drain channel surely - also why no wall ties or wall starter?

What are wall ties and wall starters 🤔?
@martin24667 ай бұрын
@warnerpaul, Perhaps you should have asked the question, "Is the plastic drainage channel being removed"..? Before questioning the need for protection to said channel....! And, if you paid attention to the video you would have seen the cavity wall ties being built in as work proceeded...! And, if you had paid attention when watching the video you would have seen the screw- in wall ties being fixed, to tie the new and old work together. at 25.32 You can clearly see Alex affixing one of the wall ties...! Wall starters are NOT the only way to tie-in old walling to new. I would recommend asking the question before making assumptive guesses about these items. 🙄🙄🤪🧱🧱😁👍👍

Reminds me of a ex mate years ago, he was a beer monster who did jobs quickly and with no knowledge to get his beer fix. He took out a concrete canopy above a front door armed with only a cold chisel and a massive lump hammer. He borrowed a rickety step ladder off the customer and started laying into the canopy. Ok, it dropped but swung on the rebars, knocked him off the ladder and promptly swung into the composite front door. Laurel and Hardy couldn’t have written a sketch like this. 😂😂😂😂

Hi, I’ve been watching your videos for quite a while. Your work is great. I’m going to do an extension where my neighbours ground level is 350mm higher than mine. Can you comment where the cavity tray would be..as the ground is higher would I need to insulate below the cavity tray..? Can u remember if uve done anything like that in the past n hv a video of it…thx

great work chaps as per normal, but the customer needs a word with him self, block work on the outside skin then render why oh why when you can just get bricks and it will look a ton better espically as stsve will be doing th brick work so the finish would have been spot on.... some people have the aesthetics of a baboon lol... keep up the good work lads you can only do what the customer wants
@SteveAndAlexBuild8 ай бұрын
The house brickwork is absolutely awful plus we would never have matched them accurately so the job is an ideal candidate for rendering 🧱👍🏽

I wonder if the plastic drainage channel will crop up in the comments this evening..?😆😆😂😂🤣🤣 👍👍🧱🧱🧱🧱😁😁😯
