Neat block work in that bay! Interesting corner flue in the bedroom, nice seeing solid work on an old building.

I can only imagine that the bath was a cast iron bath (it looked heavy). That being the case the shape of it would mean that you'd need at least a strong fully fit person at each end. Given Steve's hip issues I think the best solution was to have three people and the bath length ways. Those cast iron baths can be very heavy.

Nice job on the bath, my papa told me he made concrete baths during the war! Never had to move one of those! Plenty of cast iron and steel, but no concrete!

Many years ago we decided to renew the old cast iron bath as it was getting worn, we heaved it this way and that and scratched a door and then got it out we installed the new bath no problem, and then to transport the bath down to the waste place, I put a sledg hammer through it. Now why the hell did we not do that in the beginning? That stone looks nice Thank you for the video

Regarding your lost upload... whatever video editor you are using, save the project, which in simple terms is a list of the files used, edits, effects & titles. That way if your upload fails you can easily recover the edit. Better still, don't render direct to KZbin - render the finished project to a file and upload it later. You will then always have the exported file to re-upload and rendering to a file is likely quicker than your upload connection to KZbin. 😉

The old saying you can’t polish a turd doesn’t apply here. Mates your applying a heavy coat of wax with your expert work and the old turd will shine bright once again. 😊

hello Steve Alex have you ever used a grinder to cut into brick or what ever to create a artificial joint or joints to sometimes make work looked balanced either side on jobs..That sand stone block under dpc on the right l,i dont know if its going to be seen but cut in a artificial joint on that one just a thought Steve..Ive done it in the past seemed abit against the grain to do it but it worked out ok including cutting in various patterns....73 nearly and still at it....cheers malcolm

Maybe a silly question but why did you struggle with the bath upright when it was probably easier to do it longways?
