Thanks so much for posting your videos. I had a place in Villamartin between 2005-2010 but had to sell it when my partner passed away with cancer. Our times in the area were the happiest of both our lives - that restaurant down at Punta Prima was one of our favourite spots. Love watching your videos but they always bring a tear to my eye xx

Hi Barry, I contacted you a couple of months ago about your advice on buying in La Zenia and playa Flamenca. and I subsequently put a deposit on a new 2 bed low rise development in Innova beach punta prima (just down the road) ready in 2025. Can't wait. Keep up the great videos. Appreciated.

Barry, The new camera is freakily good. There is another development too, a couple of streets back towards Torrevieja. Starting prices of the new flats in the area is 400,000 euros. Between Punta Prima Restaurant and Cala Mosca the groundworks are in place for the massive new development. Pricing is all over the place in the area but properties are selling quickly. First time I have seen a Moto Caca in the area. Watching from Punta Prima but going back to Scotland this week to build up days for our May visit. Looking forward to the meet and greet in May

Great video, really glad you have highlighted how fast things happen in Spain. it really puts paid to the obnoxious 'Mañana' idea, which amounts to the stereotype of the lazy Spaniard never getting anything done . I have seen skyscrapers go up in Spain faster than it takes our local council to refill a single pothole. During lockdown the mayor pf Benidorm used the time and the empty streets to repave and pedestrainise huge swathes of the old town. Meanwhile neighbouring Alicante is being transformed, notably the old industrial docks, where luzury homes are replacing wasteground.

Been to Nautilus a few times - great spot for breakfast and the terrace around the back is lovely too. I’m not a fan of the high rise apartments right on the coast at Punta Prima, they are probably lovely, but would be improved if they were restricted to 3-4 floors. The motocacas are a great idea, although shouldn’t be needed 😳

Took the wife down there last week for a walk to the headland where there used to be a chiringuito, will not be returning anytime soon. The area has been totally spoiled and now resembles a concrete jungle.

Love a wee breakfast at the nautilus and do that walk regularly to la zenia or on down to Cabo Roig ..great video as always they make my day. 11 days and counting xx

Interesting video Barry. Those apartments look swish but I don't think I would want to live in one. I liked living in older, Spanish quarters on the outskirts of the town or out of town altogether in a pueblo. Well impressed with your new camera. The picture quality is fantastic. Are there many restaurants and bars near Nautilus? We walked along there a few years ago, and thought it was mainly residential. I have a dreadful sense of direction, maybe that explains it?

Tfi Friday to you Barry don’t mind the wind just keep the steps up😂 personally don’t like the apartments feel a bit sorry for the homeowners,as for the road cleaner on a scooter,can’t owners clean up afterwards👍🏿🥰
