I remember in NCAA'05 or '06 after a big play or sack you could hold L2 and X or another combination of inputs to make your player celebrate. Depending on which animation you chose, the refs would throw an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on your team. It's been almost 20 years, and I can guarantee the game won't be as deep as it was back then. They always take the small things that made the game immersive away. Same with the radio stations and post season drills and mini games on Madden.

I remember in 06 road to glory you had to pick a major and take exams and tests lol if you failed you got suspended or in dynasty you had to suspend players for off the field violations or else the NCAA would penalize your program.

Some little details I would love to be in the game: 1. Smaller Crowds for underperforming teams. Say your dynasty team was like Sam Houston this year. Horrible. The crowds should be smaller because you’re not doing well, just like real life. As your team starts to win games, the fans start showing up. 2. Signing with a new Brand. For example, Louisville is signed with Adidas. In my dynasty I should be able to sign with Nike, and the patch on the jersey and logos should replace from Adidas to Nike. 3. Athletic Director Mode. There should be a mode where you can handle all things for your program such as concession prices, ticket prices, budget, stadium renovations, etc. 4. Transfer portal HAS to have depth. The same goes with NIL. 5. Conference Realignment, just like the old games. I would love for the conference realignment to be exactly like NCAA 14. However, I think there should be an option a couple years into your dynasty to move conferences. In NCAA 14 I believe you couldn’t. 6. Traditions. For example: the tomahawk chop, joker and the thief at the start of the fourth for Louisville, the clemson rock, the notre dame sign, etc. 7. College Gameday WITH PAT MCAFFEE

Yes, smaller crowds when schools are performing well. That's been a pet peeve. The crowd noise of a small crowd is not going to have the same effect as a large crowd. And adding to that, I would like to here some "boo's" during games. Athletic Director Mode would be awesome. I've always like the "Owner" mode in games. Conference Realignment is difficult because you have specific bowl game rules. The issue with NCAA 14 is that you couldn't remove a conference or create a new one. One school had to be in the 'Independent' conference, which sucked. With the implosion of the Pac12 conference and so many new schools moving from FCS to FBS, I'd hope they add more flexibility here. Commentary wise, I'd like to see Pat McAffee, but I'd also like to local or regional commentary, unless it's a 'Nationally televised' game. I remember, way back when, if your school wasn't televised at all, no commentary would be available. Those silent games were weird, but you heard to stadium announcers more.

One of the details I used to love was how NCAA used to track stats and records. It would keep track of NCAA and school records, your overall stats had a bigger impact on awards. For example, Madden seems to just focus on rushing for RBs, but NCAA was all about All-purpose yards (rushing, receiving, return, etc.)

Visualize this trailer: Dark screen, sounds mimicking heartbeats. Heartbeats slowly turn into snare cadences, screen gets lighter and lighter until a “college athlete” Is revealed partially, and they just drop a date or “coming July”. That would be subtle and fire at the same time

I can't wait until NCAA comes out in July but as a NHL play sports fan I'd love to see them put the Frozen Four in there as they have the world juniors in there so it will be interesting to see if they put College hockey into the next NHL

i dont think people realize just how long a game takes to get made. all the way from design, coding, graphics, mechanics, etc. If anything, I'd rather a game take longer b/c its more time polish any mistakes and/or blemishes.

I know ea always said that ncaa and madden were the same mechanics and gameplay but I the collage games always felt so much better that I don't beleive that for a second. ESPECIALLY the running in the last few games like 12,13, & 14 . The way you could knife through the defense made literally each and every run feel like it could go the distance. And I hope that this is going to be the same way and be different then madden because while madden has gotten better in the last few years it's still no where near what the ncaa games were. I'm not getting my hopes up but man I want this to be Good so bad. NCAA were my all time fav games

2k and Madden not showing gameplay for their games 6-7 months in advance is a false equivalent to NCAA not doing it. 2k and Madden CANT show gameplay for their new games that early because they’re still in the middle of marketing and pushing their current games that are already released. There’s no good reason NCAA can’t show gameplay for a game that’s predecessor is a decade old at this point. If they’re truly on track the way they say, there should be something they have confidence in showing this early.

Man I need this game to come out, Idk what it is or how to explain it but madden is just not doing it for me anymore. The game feels clunky and not smooth at all and Idk if anyone else feels the same. Moving a player around feelings like im moving a tree stump if that makes sense, turning up field with a player feels like a semi trying to make a narrow turn. I hope this game is better.

Specifically interested in how recruits I specifically create will be able to look, attributes I can give them and how many I can make. I tested the limits with NCAA 14 and its 25. I goofed and made like 200 players without realizing this 😂 But will we be able to say make a player that has a certain type of beard or hairstyle, lip size, eye shape? Stuff like that

July 10th 2024 is most likely the release date, because if it’s anything like madden, the release date will follow one day after their last title aka madden 15 for example drops on August 12th, the 16 would drop on August 13th a year later. NCAA 14 dropped on July 9th 2013 so the next release should be July 10th 2024.
