Sir, first of all let me thank you so very much for your valuable information on Honda GOLDWING GL 1500 which I presently own, for first time. I was a Harley rider for years till I wised up and now truly enjoy my first GOLDWING. I AM NOT mechanically gifted so my mechanical skills are greatly limited, however, your videos have greatly reduced my fears. I recently purchased a Carpuride W502, and although watched several videos on installing wires, could not find one which showed me where and how to connect red wire with fuse connected, to the bike. I viewed your “ More Power! Adding an Auxiliary panel” and I believe I now know where to connect that red wire. I believe it is to the top of fuse panel, hope I am right. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated this as well as ALL your videos, truly, thank you sir, appreciate it so much. Hope you have a great year and I feel so much better knowing I can rely on your videos for future minor fixes. Thanks.

Ground loops suck. I like the chart you have for fuse size of each circuit. I'm planning on doing that as well. I just got my Wing two weeks ago and I want to put as many simple aids in place that I can. Little charts like that are very helpful! And the terminal strips are great to have as well! I did something similar in my motorhome to prevent my battery terminals from looking like the Christmas tree light circuit on National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Thanks for all your great videos, Scott! I just found your channel a day or two ago and subscribed immediately after watching some videos. I also registered on the website. Great stuff!! I'm looking forward to watching many more videos and learning all I can about my 2004 GL1800. Ride well!

Thank you Scott for the video ! I have a few wires tapped into the main fuse panel on the other side ! Now I know the proper way ! Do you have a video on how you wired your trailer ! Another question ? Did you have a fuse somewhere on the blue wire going to the relay ?

My question is where does that blue wire hook into exactly? Does Honda provide an easy hookup for ignition power so we can run the relay without splicing into wires? Thx, Joe

There is an "ACC" terminal at the top of the fuse box that provides switched power.

Great video Scott Very helpful. Any info/opinions on pdm60 by Rowe electronics. I purchased one for my previous but never fitted it and would like to fit it to my Goldwing to tidy up previous owners accessories wiring. Any thoughts appreciated 👍

Do you have a recommendation for the relay that you replaced in the fuse block?

I’m Trying to restore my 1996 gl1500. the previous owner obviously didnt watch your vid and ain’t apart of the goldwingdoc form. The wiring job is a mess, panels were super glued together and she’s got stickers all over her. Found that they are shipping the taxi tire to the us again. Any recommendations on progressive springs front….and rear. And any brake pad and rotor recommendations. Love your vids would be lost without goldwing docs last question will you ever upgrade to an 1800.

Very technical kind of confusing to me. I have 2001 GL1800 and would like to do something similar so I don’t have everything connected to the battery directly. What kind of reference would you give me for this?

Hi Scott where did you buy the replacement relay?

It's a standard automotive relay, you can get them almost anywhere - just get a name brand one if you can.
