Always apply Loctite Silver Grade Never Seize on bleed nipple threads especially on an older car .

I actually do this mate! It’s good measure to do. But unfortunately with how little this car gets driven I think the brake fluid corroded the nipple seat where it seals, which in a moment of stupidity I tried to tighten it more (not heaps more) and that was that

A specialist brake supplier usually sell brake nipple repair kits for exactly this reason .

We tried mate, we really did. Sent it to 2 seperate places and both advised to find another calliper.

Did you ever do the brake upgrade .?? Interested for my Q. Wilwood /Commodore /Falcon conversions are the setups I`m familiar with .

I didn’t mate. I never received the parts. The guy went bankrupt. Took almost a year to get my money back for the kit but was convinced I wouldn’t get a cent. I’ve since got commodore callipers and had lines made, and will organise the rest of the stuff one day 😂

Although I have HQ performance 276mm discs and o/hauled stock calipers/pads once rego done I will fit the Bendix BA Falcon 298mm "Ultimate "" disc conversion with AU2 falcon twin piston caliper fitted with Bendix ""Ultimate "" performance ceramic pads . Compared to HQ stock the upgraded Falcon setup should improve braking by about 10-20% closer to 20% according to Bendix. The Wilwood brake setup is the same diameter as stock with narrower discs and expensive pads . Not a great improvement just drains the wallet . The large VT commodore caliper has wheel fitt and suspension clearance issues ??. Alot more to this , I suspect some fit commo wheels . Many I suspect also fit tubular A arms if the caliper hits regardless of caliper source .

It’s called tornado red. Is a Holden colour. I believe from an early Colorado but not 100% sure
