I want one of these. The extra counter space is a big plus. Thank you.

RV Granny Isn't it funny that most RV manufacturers don't include a lot of hidden ,slide out or fold up style counter space options.. It is so common of a problem you would think there would be more designers addressing it.. This is the quickest solution for us right now. I may have to look into a folding addition also in the future. Thanks for the comment. If you do decide to purchase , Please use the link in the description..

By most RV standards my kitchen is large, but you know how it is every little bit counts. Thank you, and I already checked out the link.

I have a Suburban stove/oven3 burner in my 5th wheel and this also works for me.

ya, that's a necessary upgrade for a lot of RVs.

I like this, thanks for sharing. IF my RV I would install more durable decorative tiles or backing to both the back of the stove top and to protect the wood wall on the side. It doesn't take much experience in cooking to know things splatter, things not always easily cleaned from a painted wall or a mock wood wall. . IF you want to keep the wood finish I would a couple of good coats of covering to protect the finish to make it easier to keep grease stains from marring it.

It's astonishing that every rv cooktop does not have that.

What do you do with it when you need to use the stove?
@Rvdaydream9 жыл бұрын
Mark c Temporarily place it along side or behind burners or do like +Alaskan_Gypsy said and place it between the cushions of the dining booth, or some sinks allow for it to sit across one of the basins. You can pretty much keep it anywhere you want for the short amount of time it take cooking.

Ok I have the same style cook stove in an camper I just bought it has the same style wire covers over the burners...are you suppose to remove the wire covers to put a pan on the eye ??? Mine have been removed and has broken the enamel finish..😞..
@Rvdaydream6 жыл бұрын
Mike Andrews wire? Do you mean the cooking grates? The burners are there just to distribute an equal flame.. The grates are for holding the pan..
@mikeandrews81726 жыл бұрын
RVdaydream yep that's what I thought ,the previous owner has removed the wire grates an set the pan,skillet,or what they were cooking with ..it has messed the top up..but thank you..

Thank you for showing! I'm considering getting this but am wondering how hard it is to remove our current stovetop cover that comes with the oven?
@Rvdaydream6 жыл бұрын
Not real sure..our stove did not have one installed from the Mfg.. I f i had my choice I would want a flush mount glass top stove cover.. some of the newer RV's have them..

That thing is a real fire hazard. Better hope no one accidentally turns the stove on.

If you knew how to use it, it wouldn't be a fire hazard

Why on earth would anyone want to spend $30 to buy this heavy and not pretty top when you can get 1/2 inch or 1/3 inch birch plywood with a lovely grain, cut it to fit, router and sand edges, and duplicate this other board? The 99 cent stores sell this rubber matting for .... 99 cents a roll. Get some rubber feet from Home Depot, and voila! Your own lovely stove top cover. Be creative and stain and poly coat, or paint it!
