You're absolutely right and what you've said seems to remind me of that glorious and yet terrifying passage in Revelation 6, where John declares that when the Lamb, Jesus, opens the sixth seal, there's a great earthquake and the sun becomes black like sackcloth of hair, the moon becomes like blood and the stars of Heaven fall to the earth like a fig tree casting its figs when shaken by a strong wind. The sky departs like a scroll when it is rolled up and every mountain and island is removed from its place. Then, the kings of the earth, its military leaders and all the rich and famous people, as well as everyone else, both slave and free, hide themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains and cry to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who is seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! I became a Christian at a very young age but, as I grew up, I pretty much put God on a shelf. When I realized I needed Him in my life, I became part of what I thought was a wonderful church. Eventually, it split, but I didn't know enough to understand why. I totally believed in the whole word of faith thing, but I grew tired of constantly being told I 'didn't have enough faith' when things didn't work out or I didn't get answers I desperately needed, etc. Someone even told my husband once that, instead of staying home in bed with an excruciating migraine, I should have gotten dressed and come to church. Several other things happened and, finally, I stopped going. A few months ago, I found out the truth about this 'movement' and I am so very thankful for teachers like you who put truth out there. I was in the same scene and have in the last few years found out that the bible is roughly about 60 to 70% right and the rest a lie. Where did I find all this. Bertrand comparret, Alan Horvath on KZbin and a few others. And found out that yahuah is the true name of the heavenly father and Yahushua is the name of he who saves. I have found that Jesus has no meaning to it and Lord and god are Baal the fallen one deceiving everyone. Don't take my word for it go research so that you know the truth. I live in Louisiana and many years ago my wife and I listened to Jesse Duplantis, Kennith Copeland, Kennith Hagan etc. We also attended a large meeting in New Orleans with Benny Hinn. We eventually moved away from these preachers and found preachers that preached the true gospel., It was many years later did we hear Justin Peters teach about the wrong direction these preachers were leading people and how all they were after was our money. I’m glad, even though my wife and I had moved on years ago from these preacher, that Justin boldly came forth to warn us about the prosperity word faith money grabbing… For me he underlined and proved true my suspicions of wrong preaching. Thank you Justin for exposing these people that mislead us. There are still many good folks out there that need to hear the truth. So, keep at it!

Their boasting about their wealth etc is abhorrent. Duplantis says he's "a multi-millionnaire" and that each of his 22 chandeliers costs more than most people's houses , presumably in his neighbourhood. I did some research on Louisiana and found that there are people there who can't afford to eat every day. How can they be so proud, and insensitive?! But their judgement is not sleeping - Jeremiah 23 and Ezekiel 34.

Well, that was cringe-worthy to say the least to begin with. I kept trying to find the roots of this group, who started it, etc. Finally I went to Acts 29 KZbin channel and listened to the earlier English speaking series they had. Didn't get but half way through it when - after a bunch of claims of being "reformed" - the speaker quoted C. Peter Wagner. Red flags went off in my head! He was quoting Wagner in a positive, not negative, light. These wolves are everywhere.

One of the first signs of a good Christian is humility none of these health and wealth preachers exhibit even a tiny bit of humility. We are nothing, everything we have and are comes from God. We will all die and leave all material goods behind. We all should learn a spirit of detachment from created things as well as anything that hinders our love of God. Unfortunately the average person does not realize that suffering is good for the soul. Suffering refines our souls so we become dependent on the love and mercy of God. His Grace is sufficient. Suffering was once connected to the word courage, it has since lost it’s original meaning. Unfortunately in this day and age suffering just means your IPhone battery ran out of juice.

Was His blood shed so we can claim divine healing or so that we can be set free from the power and bondage of Sin? Isaiah 53:5, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes, we are healed.” (NKJV) This scripture is not referencing Physical healing, but Spiritual. “He” was “wounded” for” our transgressions” and “bruised” for our “iniquities” - the “chastisement” FOR OUR PEACE was upon “Him” by “His stripes” we are “healed” - the healing is from our iniquities and Transgressions, not our sicknesses and diseases. where do you see physical healing in this scripture? So again I ask, did He (Jesus) come to save us from our corruptible bodies and it’s decaying infirmities, or save us from the power, bondage and penalty of sin while providing us Spiritual healing? You decide!

I’m so grateful for the loving mercy and grace of God that would save a sinner such as me. Sometimes I can’t believe he called me to be his daughter and has made me new in Christ Jesus. Praying for Jesse Duplantis- I heard him preach several years ago at a Word of Faith church we attended. He talked about how he met Abraham on a trip to Heaven. The Apostle Paul referred to himself...in the present tense...as a wretched man and chief of sinners. He fully understood the theological truth of man's total depravity. Being a scholar of the Bible, which our friends Jesse and Copeland, et al, are obviously not; Paul came to the conclusion that in this life we serve the law of sin in the flesh, even with the Holy Spirit within us. This does not mean we are excused to sin willfully, but that when we would do good, evil is present with us. He struggled with it, as do we all. These men at the "Victorython" have their reward (money, jets, lavish homes, admiration of many). They have deceived themselves, and are deceiving many more tens of thousands. The delusion of God is all encompassing for those who seek a 'different' Jesus. Good stuff, brother. Good stuff.

When I was 12, jessee came promoting his heaven experience book, the church was full. At the end of his talk he started praying and prophesying over people. I was just a young believer. But I really wanted to be close to God, and maybe have an experience .if what I was seeing was real. People falling down and being covered up with sheets. People speaking like chadhamadhaloddah,, i didn't feel like it sounded right, but I really wanted to be closer to God.. so I went up to the front of the building towards the stage and just stood there. I was pretty small at twelve, and everyone was much taller than me. Jessee walked by me several times and even touched and prayed and prophesied over people right beside me...I just kept standing without saying anything, I was 12 like I said and pretty insecure about even being there in the first place...finally he saw me, he looked down at me and backed up and focused totally on me... after a few seconds he asked God to touch me and he started to lay his hand on my forehead, just before his hand touched me, I felt a shock like electricity, maybe small lightning is what I was thinking in my little mind, then his hand touched my head and I fell down...I couldn't move anything except my eyes, but I couldn't open them.ao I laid in the floor in the front of this church with people all around, I could hear the people and this excited them very much that I fell down....I kept waiting for God to speak to me, or give me a vision.. I still couldn't move after what seemed like several minutes and I started wondering why God knocked me down, and paralyzed me, and didn't say anything...so I started to pray. I said well, if this is you God, I guess your not going to speak or show me something I want , so I guess I'll just pray and tell you what I need, I began to ask him to help me and my mother get along better, I asked him to help me grow up into a good man, and I started to feel like me being paralyzed might not be God doing it.and that maybe jessee had done this through his spiritual power. The electricity I felt was real,and the not being able to move was real, but Idid not feel the presence of the Lord like I had experienced before, I felt power but it didn't feel peaceful, and it didn't make me calm like the Holy Spirit always has, after another few minutes I got up and I believed he heard my prayer for me and mom..now that I'm grown and I understand the word a little better, i pray for jessee, and for these men and women who use their spiritual gifts for there own glory and profit. And the simple people who are looking for what they bring from their flesh. Those who are of the world, preach the world, and the world hears them... if I ever see jessee again I'm going to wrap my arms around him and let him feel my spiritual power......it is the love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, and I would ask God to let him feel Him...I hope that helps someone. The blood of Jesus makes us clean, but the promise is only given to those who ask... recieve the blood, for washing sin away, and then recieve the spirit to fill your heart and life with grace and truth..and love like you are loved in Christ Christ Jesus...God bless everyone who hears his voice, and lift up your heads because he is coming soon, for a perfect church without spot, wrinkle or blemish.. the more things get worse on this earth, his people are shining brighter and brigher..keep your selves in the love of God, dont look back because he is coming.......in us...then for us

Jesse Duplantis is a false prophet. If something struck you down it was not the power of God. Jesse is a worker of the devil and I think that it was some kind of satanic influence that came upon you. Of course you were seeking God but Satan knows that Jesse is one of his people and not God's so he used Jesse to mislead you into believing that God touched you when in fact it was a satanic influence. God does not give new revelations for he has completely written and authored his holy word and he will not say anything that he hasn't already said in his word. If you want to hear from him, ask Jesus very sincerely to be the Lord of your life and save you from your sin. Not sins,your sin. You're not condemned for your sins for Jesus paid for your sins on the cross. You're condemned for your SIN,for being a born sinner who doesn't believe in or follow the principles of God. But that changes when the Holy Spirit convicts you and you follow his lead to ask Christ to save you from your sin and to cleanse your spirit from all unrighteousness. And then read and study the Bible which contains everything God wants to say to us and ever will say to us while we're here. That's how you hear from him my friend.

This is a sad truth, about 35 yrs ago my brother in law who was a reverend sent in paperwork via mail to have their dog receive his ordination papers to become a reverend. Family members took a "test" and were ashamed that they too had received their ordinations. God forgive them all.

When I first became a Christian years ago I attended living word in Brooklyn park where Mac Hammond was the head pastor. He often invited Jesse Duplantis and talked highly about Kenneth Copeland. I gave my 10%, as he pushed the importance of tithing every single sermon/ made you feel bad if you didn’t. And made sure you gave with a happy heart or it would be disappointing to God. I had NNNOOOO clue this church wasn’t right for lack of a better word. I had no clue Jesse duplantis n Kenneth Copeland were wolves in sheep’s clothing. I ended up leaving the faith for almost 5 years until Jesus called me back and showed me The Truth. I’m now realizing a lot of the preaching I soaked in as truth was really deceiving and misleading. Living word is mega church, looks like a mansion inside and size to boot. Mac is a millionaire complete with a private jet and numerous properties worth millions. I feel The Lord let me experience all this to teach me discernment. I’m SOOO thankful God opened my eyes ❤️
