In true Make It Dairy Free fashion, as soon as we do a video, a company releases a new product. Credo just announced Vegan Spray Cheese. We will work to find it ASAP!

Spray???? 😮 huh
@brittanydaniels11025 ай бұрын
@MakeItDairyFree Even though both flavors of the Credo Vegan Spray cheeses are free of the top nine allergens, I just don't like how both of them have a man made chemical made in a lab (a different man made chemical made in lab in each of the two flavors of the Credo Vegan Spray Cheeses). Then they both have natural flavors which are far from being natural and instead act the same as artificial flavors and are only their to make these Vegan allergens free spray cheeses to be ultra palatable meaning you are going to keep eating the products and won't be able to stop eating the products until they are gone and/or you no longer buy these products for example and thus I feel natural flavors being allowed in ultra processed foods here in the USA is a contributing factor in the high obesity rates here in the USA. Finally I don't like that both flavors of the Credo Vegan allergen free spray cheeses have xanthan gum as an ingredient because it can sometimes exacerbate IBS, Crohn's disease and/or Ulcerative colitis in some people. I just thought I let you know because if I can't get access to any real sheep's milk cheeses or water buffalo milk cheeses, then I need to make sure the vegan cheeses I am eating don't have any unpronounceable man made chemicals that are made in a lab along with natural flavors that are there to just make any of the vegan cheeses to be highly palatable making it beyond difficult to just eat one serving.

@@cherisseharris570 My above comment is not funny at all and I would appreciate it if you would remove your above bulling and rude comment of a bunch of laughing emojis since my above comment is not funny but truthful instead. There is no need for you to comment with a bunch of laughing emojis to my above comment that is not funny at all. You have commented with a bunch of laughing emojis to my above comment to the wrong person. I am an autistic woman without any intellectual disabilities and has four other diagnosed disabilities outside of autism who has been in at least one public then made private photography group from beginners to pro Facebook group where a lot of the members felt it is okay to comment with laughing emojis to other members comments and/or post to laugh at the comments and/or the person making the comments and/or to laugh at the posts and/or whoever made the post that I consider to be forms of bullying and what I feel you did in your above comment is bullying by commenting with a bunch of laughing emojis to my previous comment that is bullying, rude and not needed at all. It seems like Andrew has a more sensitive palate as far as picking up certain distinct flavors whereas Larisha takes it in as a whole, although she certainly can discern differences in flavor. Love how she usually takes a nice, normal bite of whatever they are tasting while Andrew takes the smallest amount he can. Do appreciate these types of videos even though we do all have different opinions on what tastes good, but you go into a fair amount of detail of the nuances and also look at ingredients. I will say that once you are good at cooking, you become much more critical of stuff in boxes and jars from the store, but also more appreciative when a company does it right and you can have that as a backup when you don't feel like being in the kitchen.

His taste buds are definitely more refined than mine! And he's pickier I think is why he's always scared to take bigger bites, but you always know when he likes something b/c he'll eat more HAHA

Appreciate these product reviews. I didn't catch the prices of these? Vegan versions often are so pricey! Just Mayo finally returned (saw your video, so thanks for letting us know it was back!) and I happily splurge for it.

It is great that there are more vegan dip/sauces and other products available for those that are either dairy or other allergen free or outright vegan. Too bad that a lot of companies still use preservatives in a lot of their products. I know not all but it still needs be shelf stable. Plus nobody talks about salt.

packaged usually always means higher salt :/

Its funny that Andrew mentions the "tang" or sourness of these sauces. I have been making a queso that was initially inspired by MIDF's Nacho Cheese sauce recipe. (I now use cashews instead of butter and sometimes use Tofu as a base instead of butter beans.) One of the first changes I made though was swapping out the canned jalapeños that you all called for, for pickled jalapeños, increased the amount of lemon juice, and added a pinch of lactic acid.

I think I was able to make something comparable to the queso in the jar , but I am not sure of the viscosity. Recipe: 1.5 cups of oat milk .5 cup of raw cashews .25 cup of roasted red pepper 3 tbsps of diced picked jalapeño 2 tbsps of nooch 1 tsp of diced chipotle in adobo 1 tsp chili powder .5 tsp cumin .5 tsp lactic acid .5 tsp sazon .25 tsp onion powder .25 tsp garlic powder Blend until smooth Add 1 tsp of Xanthan gum Blend to incorporate

i just got the cold credo queso, was really good cold and happy it was no oil. however just saw they include erythritol, which gives me diarrhea...so i will stay away from now on. what a shame and what a dumb choice for such an otherwise great product. also there was a recent study saying erythritol caused increase risk of heart attack....not sure the validity, but plenty of other digestive reasons to stay away from it.

@brittanydaniels11025 ай бұрын
@MrSkotty1992 I believe xanthan gum not to be good for anybody at all, because it didn't always exist in any of the foods humans were eating years ago meaning foods were being made creamy without the use of xanthan gum and guar gum and nobody had issues those foods being creamy without xanthan gum and guar gum meaning it didn't cause anyone to have health issues like xanthan gum and guar gum does for some people today.
