Zahhak is a warrior so he can’t use silver rain BUT he does have an exclusive equipment that does the exact same thing, so yeah he can go first and give a self attack buff and ally attack buff before doing his s3, huge buff to him

However, you should know that you don't always want to give attack buff to your highest attack ally. For example, if you draft hwayoung and straze together, you would value the attack buff and CR push more on straze instead of hwayoung since it is likely that the enemies are still gonna get one shot regardless of attack buff

@@neito.m.6741 doesn't matter, the other guy has a point flexibility by itself makes it better, even if it matters 1 in 1000 fights. Also there's probably gonna be a better artifact in the future so having the slot free is very nice.

in regards to pirate captain flan, she was most often run on Seaseria's artifact which requires you toi not crit, so she was run atr 15% crit and would screw you over if she DID crit, so making it so she can't crit is a huge buff. in regards to zahhak silver rain is a thief artifact, he could use his own artifact or border coin, but I doubt people would bother

Zahhak can now use the Elaborate Plan EE to give him and ally attack buff. He can now also effectively use his own artifact that gives more C. Dmg. after using a non-attack skill

I am beyond happy with Riolet buffs. He is the character I decided to download the game over and this will allow us to actually draft him in RTA much more now.

I like using him now too, but I still have PTSD from when he first came out and he was on every single GW defense trollin with evasion RNG. This was before stuff like Hwayoung existed to just one tap him 100%.

PC flan buffs that makes her not crit is huge cuz she is used with Siseria artifact so every s1 is a stun and detonation even on miss as long as its not resisted or there’s inmunity

New PC flan s1 steals buffs, which unlike rimuru's s2 passive, does strip the buff when taken. So she will now be able to bomb and detonate on S1 through immunity as long as she gets the 75% proc (minus 15%)

Alabastron is one of those artifacts best suited for pve with a high effectiveness requirement. You can have it on Surin, and she can put 9 stacks of debuffs on a boss while that clears up room for you to slap on gear with dmg, hp, and spd subs.

I don't think I'll ever have my Zahhak at the super speed contester level. Mine sitting at 249 speed. My only issue with Zahhak was his Ai. He was always selecting himself even though he could target an ally instead. Maybe he won't do that anymore but we'll see.

At 7:00 , you mention the non crit on the pirate captain flan. The almost certain likelihood of this buff is to take out the 15% base crit chance if you wanted to run on her on the seasaria artifact, which helps reduce some rng she had for that.

The buffs for pirate flan are actually really good. The change to her S1 is really nice because it reduces the chances of her having dead turns due to the enemy team having immunities, and the removal of crit is also very nice because seaseria's artifact is her best in slot, meaning she can 100% stun chance(85% in reality) with nice dmg on her S1 because it detonates the bomb immediately. And because it comes from an artifact, it doesn't even matter if the attack lands or not, unless you need to steal immunity. She's a pretty self sufficient hero, supplying herself with both dmg mitigation and attack buff, so the only support she really needs is strips. Her S3 can often be an instant win button in a lot of situations, and the effectiveness buff now makes it a lot easier for her to control cleansers that aren't named Kawerik and Dilibet.

Peeps saying that he can open giving an atk buff. Maybe I'm a lunatic but I have never used the zahaak EE that gives atk buff, the one that reduces resources is so good. On aravi not only injuries on s3 also gets rid of the healing/pushing, makes ML Vivian a fodder, and can save you against choux, ssb, ML cermia.

Hear me out... what if we go Counter/Dust Devil Riolet with the buffs? You could stack up Focus very fast, and when you SB your S1, you can possibly get your S3 in that turn if you get Dust Devils. If not, Ervalen's artifact is probably the best in slot, but the thought of double S1s and fast stacking that focus sounds really fun

You could but his evasion rate is much lower then and he becomes much scarier to use. If anything you should just use Decrescent on Riolet then. On dust devil he'd be missing 20% evasion.

Pirate flan buffs are more QoL. I use her a lot and all it really does is help a bit with the biggest problem she has (which completely negates her existence). I think it helps but she won't be meta or popping up all that much.

Imma throw the hot take here for once: I think this buff round is gonna make the next toxic wave of heroes and people will look back at it and say "what was SG thinking". Riolet's gonna turn more into a coin flip, Flan will punish you for not bringing enough cleansers in, and TML/Vildred are gonna make aggro/cleave even harder to play against alongside the 3 months of recent support they've gotten. But I can see why they do it. they only buff every 2 months and people seem a lot more receptive to this round than the last one. Or still feel unsure on if it even has impact. It's really hard to judge the underpinnings from some notes.

But with Zahak you can go Zahak and Eda 4 and 5 and you dint care about about Violet 5th pick. I see that combo will be used a lot, at least I know by me haha

No one used Riolet soul burn, so I agree with changing it to an extra turn. It’ll really help his tempo. Tomoca buff has me conflicted. Just how many units have to give an AOE attack buff? Didn’t moon bunny dominiel come out recently to fulfill that role? Meanwhile Rose is sitting in the dust with a base speed of 97. Captain pirate Flan I’m also conflicted with. Her S2 change to not crit is literally so you use nothing but the seaseria artifact. Zahhack in the higher tiers of play has 1 role only. Speedy nuke. In the lower tiers of play, his S2 could be used in some situations, but all and all, a barrier means nothing to invincibility. Vildred buffs are “buffs”. But it seriously bothers me that an already viable unit, pvp and pve is getting buffed while things like Sez and Ilynav are sitting ducks Luluca, feels like a PVE buff. Remember that Ervalen “buff” that would’ve made him a PVE slave? It shows that they really don’t mind if a unit is used in one area of content and not the other.

Yeah vildred and riolet didn’t really need it but I use both so I’ll take it lol. Zahhak has a EE that does the same thing as silver which he can’t use as a warrior. And I believe he’s 119 speed if I remember right. The fact he doesn’t need much crit just frees up stat space for ppl to use him that fast. Also Jena is probably there for an SC change in the future. Now she’s a mage that has a s2 soul burn extra turn. So kind of similar to eda in a sense. Except she doesn’t do damage with hers. 😅

They rushed this round of buffs up so they'll manage to not have a round of buffs end up just before every RTA season. So they swapped it with the EE release which was scheduled to the 27th, and that'll get pushed back instead. While I hope they do crank up the patch cadence, that does not seem to be their plan currently. Vildred's multipliers are pretty terrible, which is hidden by the fact most people who use him pair him with Flan and have crazy good gear. But as someone who uses him in Azimanak 13, his multis are bad. Now, I don't think he actually needed buffs, but he's the Roana buff of the patch - just filler. I do hate how many tools they're giving cleavers (Tomoca is 2 spd faster, 4 crit-rate higher CCharles, who doesn't AoE and can bring her own book, for instance) - but they keep pushing cleave so they could push RNG as the "counter" to it - Armin buffs, Kayron buffs, etc. SG is pushing for cleave and RNG for all, removing much of what little agency the game has left. P.S. Tomoca is faster than CCharles, and he's a menace already, and people don't say he's too slow, so this argument doesn't really work for her either. P.P.S. Faptain's crit removal is so she'll be able to use Seaseria's arti without being 15%ed. Finally, Barmin's very much a girl :P Jena's kit is pretty insane, except for the 75% on the S3. If she gets an SC, she'll be crazy. You missed Jena's AoE strip does have a soulburn extra turn, and she is in fact a mage.

I dont like the Tomoca buff. The CR is nice small adjustment. But giving her S3 AB ? Tomo is not a party support unit. She was one of the OS "nuke your face" units that put fear into people, before all the Vigor, Escort and non counter counter attacks were added. For her to make sense in that role again they shoul have given her S2 self GAB instead of AB. Especially when they are reducing her extra damage from self imprint. That way she would have gotten back part of her old role. Her job was to one shot a specific unit, not support the team ffs. The CC imprint would have been great to begin with, not now when everyone who actualy uses her has her already optimised. And the "just regear her" argument is stupid. As if its soo easy to get a 20+ speed neck/ring with rest of the subs being also useful on the set of your choice (Pen in this case). The AB does open some fun comps for GW, but does not fix her biggest issue, which is both lack of speed and damage output for the current meta. If they fixed one of those I would have been happy. Tomo is my favorite unit to play with. I try to use her whenever possible thats why I am dissapointed how tone deaf her buff is. On a side note: Didnt they promise more nerfs after Hwayoung ? If they nerfed Hwa and leave the other 7 Disasters up there, we have literally just moved back to full blow ARavi+Rimuru dominance meta like it was before Hwa release.

That's the thing, they don't want to give a speed scaling hero nuke level offenses. They probably keep regretting giving Cidd his crazy mults back at launch. So they expand her options instead of making her the one scariest DPS. they don't want another Hwayoung situation. "Didnt they promise more nerfs after Hwayoung " they did not. people read into the statement wrong to think there's more. But they always give advanced notice if they are nerfing and recalling.

Green violet will always be better, he has a self cleanse and can't be stripped. Riolet does more instant damage but violet does more dps overall.

Pirate Flan buff feels like a nerf to me. I have one built on spd + hit set but she actually have 100% cc and 260 cdmg with 260 spd & 3.3k atk. If I can't crit now and they only give me 50% effectiveness as compensation, I feel I'm getting scammed.

The thing with plan is that you can finally put siserias artifact on her without worrying that plan will trigger a critical hit, and since her s1 detonates the bombs inflicted, she can literally shut down a unit. I have a buddy who was testing her out this way and my goodness is it very toxic, and the fact that she’s getting this buff was just a slap in the face to me personally
