i am huge postmodern jukebox fan (especially haley) and just posted a long post (incl recommendations) on your "don't speak" reaction... morgan and haley are both in "all about the bass". besides pmj and haley who by far is my favorite singer now, i have really enjoyed recently listening to lanie gardner with her cover of fleetwood "dreams" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGKvmXZnr6yiq8U) and "hell on heels" cover (kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4aZqZKZotagmpI).... she has also great tone and rasp (and terrific smile)... she has since gotten a recording contract with jonas brothers studio and even mic fleetwood himself was so impressed he contacted her to tell here how good she was.

I love sitting here thinking about Morgan and PMJ covering, note for note, the original arrangement of the 1943 version of _Dream On,_ sung by Ella Fitzgerald, in an after hours jam session with a few members of Count Basie's orchestra, in an un-named recording studio where somebody left the tape running, an obscure label now lost to history somehow acquires the master in a box of old used tape, realizes they've got something special, and releases it on a 78 rpm vinyl record, but given the lack of provenance or a contract, it's still not enough to save the company, so it has only a limited regional release. Then a young Steven Tyler, age 10, finds one of the few copies of the record one day in his mom's old trunk in the attic, a markdown price handwritten across the label (discounted by the Yonkers record store, after it had failed to move, where his mom Susan had bought it as a teenager). Little Steven plays it, the tone arm needle skipping its way through the scratchy recording. The young lad's face begins to light up, and the rest, as they say, is history! And, of course, none of that actually happened. Be kinda neat if it had, though....

Morgan is a Julliard trained opera singer. After graduating that she went on to Broadway and did live theater. At some point she learned to belt, they don't train for that in opera. But overall a great singer that uses her opera abilities in normal human music. Check out her and Scott (founder/arranger/piano for PMJ) doing Take Me To Church... So powerful! Also she does a couple songs for PMJ with Haley, those are really good, they complement each other.

She’s amazing, talented and sexy, lol Just wanted to suggest a new artist to you named Lara Fabian! She’s great! She has great vocals, stage presence and subtle sex appeal. She’s speaks and sings in multiple languages. Start with watching some performances from the “Lara with love” concert 1999 Songs there are “broken bow” “je’suis Malade”. (enable English lyrics) “Your not from here” and “Perdere La’More” (enable English) she is a great artist and is an awesome rabbit hole to get lost in! Cheers from San Diego California ❤️❤️

The 2nd video is Haley, Morgan James and Ariana Savalas (Telly Savalas' daughter) together singing 'All About That Bass'. I know you will be blown away by these two. PMJ is pure genius. Good to see you checking out other Postmodern Jukebox performances. For me, the magic is PMJ themselves, how they take a song then tweak it by making arrangements to a completely different genre (ie rock --> 60s dance hall, metal --> blues etc). The singers themselves are an incredible bonus, and usually chosen for their own vocal strengths. Would love to see many more of PMJ's material, and not solely singers performing with PMJ.

Hi Ramboss, nice reaction again, I think you found your niche... For some time now Haley is my top beloved singer, but Morgan is close behind. Suggestion for another reaction on her: "Human" - she recorded that one with her husband who is an outstanding guitar player, an accordion player and a percussionist. That one is an awesome cover too, and I think this might be interesting for you, as you did some PMJ performances lately and might like to hear how she sounds in another instrumental setting... (which shall not stop you from doing more reactions on PMJ, Scott Bradlee is a genius arranger and pianist)... Human by Rag'n'Bone Man (Morgan James Cover): kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5jYfWtvatyBldk As for PMJ: Anything by them is great, I'll go with anyone ft. Haley of course, but also Morgan has more outstanding songs with them. And one of my personal favorites is their cover of David Bowie's "Life On Mars" ft. Olivia Kuper Harris (Smokey Jazz Ballad Cover) - I just love that song in Bowie's original, but what these guys do with it is mindblowing, this lady does not only sing, but... won't tell anything more, surprise... kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZq4doyEhLefnq8 And generally I love Angelina Jordan, and Diana Ankudinova, if you need suggestion on these two just tell me and I'll gladly try to help... Have a great day!

They say when a great author finishes her story, the silence speaks. That happens sometimes for PMJ and company, too.
