I'm thinking of getting a 16' WRX or 16' Ford RS but the RS is about $10K more than the WRX and I just want a car that is fun that I can push 350 WHP no problem and have it be fun and reliable. So I have these all installed on my 2015 WRX. I have the Morimoto XBT wired straight to the battery, but I’ve noticed when I turn my demon eyes off from the app they continue to stay on as a faint red glow. Any solutions to fix this? Thanks.

Tommy, I made some phone calls and I believe the answer is the wire that taps into the headlights has a constant power which then runs through the LED’s and thus the LED’s emit a red glow. I have not unplugged mine yet to test this information but I plan too soon. I am going to try connecting it to the ground coming out of the headlight in attempt to keep the functionality of the auto off feature when the headlights are on, if not I will likely just unplug it all together. You need a special bracket but I'm not sure if it's manufactured anymore really. You might have to DIY or call up some places to find it!

Hey I got a custom bracket done but I don't think they make / carry it anymore unfortunately, but you can try contacting ProLightz or Morimoto to see if they carry a bracket for your ride.

@@andrewettinger4810 that's because you shouldn't run the positive to the damn battery lol. It need to go to a switched power source. Meaning a source that turns off when you turn off the car

Hey man, if you go over to ProLightz website or Facebook pages you should contact them there, or you can also call them too. They will be able to help you out and confirm this for you. I know it's a positive power wire going to your headlights, but I'm not exactly sure which wire it is and I don't want to give you the wrong info, so just give them a call bro and they will walk you through that and help you. It's probably a very simple step just to connect! :) Once you find out come post back here and let us know!! :)

I'd say to contact ProLightz and let them know dude!! Maybe yours is missing perhaps or maybe an option was missed at check-out for the car you installed on. I presume a WRX like mine ofcourse!! Shoot them an email forsure :)

Bad install to install the red wire to your battery. You need to install the red wire to a remote wire that turns off when the car is off.

Nah dude, then you can't turn the lights on anytime whenever you're at a car show / meet/ etc. and the car is off. Direct to battery, you can add a secondary switch if you're paranoid, but I ran this 3 years no problems along with various other lighting mods etc.
