Text my sil this past Sunday asking what her plans were after church. She sent me a picture of my niece all dressed and ready and her in her jammies. Told me, I tried but no church today. One child. It’s just hard. Never ever will I look down on a parent. My 3 year old wore her jammies to the store this morning. It was after 20 minutes of trying to get her ready. Jammies or we had no milk. Your patience is amazing!

You may want to try putting out 2 outfits for each twin and letting them choose what to wear. It makes for better dressing sometimes. Also gives them a sense of accomplishment.

My kids were 20 months apart and my husband worked every other weekend. Some may find this not cool, but I dressed them for church the night before after their baths. Our church is casual so the clothes were comfy to sleep in. If I diapered them up good, there was no leaking at night and I just used bibs at breakfast to keep them clean. We made it almost every week but now I look back and think I could have skipped a few more weeks and it would have been ok!! Whatever helped me get them to church with as much ease as possible was good to me!! I feel for you and with three kids, I am sure that I would have stayed home more!!

ha ha Your reply made me laugh so hard, last year I had to give our indoor cat antibiotics, I was nervous to begin with, he would grit his little teeth together, my son would not help me at all, he would just laugh and I would be struggling on the couch, holding our cat down with his teeth in a grip hold, it was a Seinfeld episode literally! Memories ha ha Barely got the antibiotics in.

So much cuteness in the kids outfits l miss having kids to dress up. Christmas is a non event for me if l am lucky l get a text from 2 of my kids and spend the day alone. My food is just toast for 1. I brought my kids up as a solo mum and they are my world but they are to busy to bother with me now all my grandkids are grown and l am no longer needed as a babysitter.

Jennie White - I don’t tip anywhere but at a restaurant where I am served the food and I do not have to get up and clean off my table, and my hairdresser. Tip jars are every where and that is just plain ridiculous. Employees at Starbucks, Baskin Robbins etc., are doing their job that their employer pays them to do.

Thanks! There’s no pain with nursing and she’s gaining weight ahead of schedule. This “clicking” isn’t always there. But otherwise, I’d be having her checked for sure!

Brad and Rach - I didn’t know that I or two of my sons (now in their 40’s) were tongue tied, until last November (2018) when my miracle grandson was born tongue tied. I took him to a chiropractor to help with the exercises after his tongue was clipped, and she said I was tongue tied and then we checked with my sons and found out they were too. The pediatrician never looks in my grandson’s mouth nor did the pediatricians when my sons were babies. Just let the pediatrician check her tongue so you know for sure all is ok.

Brad and Rach very common for moms with over supplies to have babies that gain fast for a while. My son was the same but plateaued after a bit. Posterior ties are OFTEN missed. But Facebook has some great support groups that can help.

Cheryl Allen Pedatricians are not very educated on tongue ties. Our pediatrician and 3 lactation consultants missed hers. Our youngest had a level 3 (4 is the worst) tongue tie and also had a lip tie. Hers was so severe that it could’ve caused speech issues once she started talking, so we went ahead and had both released with the laser at a pediatric dentist office.

Emily and Brandon Corley - my grandson was born C-Section and the Pediatrician doctor that was in the operating room told us within minutes of his birth that he had a tongue tie. We took him to a specialist that told us he had a lip tie too. He did the laser on the tongue tie, but said he didn’t need to do the lip tie.
