MORNING ROUTINE and FOOD that keeps me "SHREDDED" year round (and you can too)

I’m a Paramedic and work 24hr shifts. On those shifts where we got up a few times at night and got very little sleep. I’ve found what works for me is to scrap whatever day it’s supposed to be as far as leg day, chest day, back day etc… I’ll start out with light weight movements or body weight movements and which ever is feeling the smoothest and easiest area to work. That’s what I work that day but I’ll keep the weight light for the most part and increase reps. Do about a 30-45 minute session just to get the blood flowing. Makes me feels better than doing nothing

@@evilweasil where I used to work. We ran average 18 calls in 24 hours. It was inner city. Now I work in a rural area. Average is 4-5 calls in 24 hours. Much better for longevity!

I’m a shift worker also, what you’re doing is burning the build up of triglycerides out of your blood stream! Apparently, from what I understand, the easiest way to do this is is in your HR zone 2 for about 30 minutes. Get on the stationary bike, work up to btw 120-140 hr and stay there for 30 min. But also totally whatever works for you! Keep killing it :)

@@pinoefin if I’m rested I just continue with my normal schedule. If not I’ll just get the blood pumping and prioritize which ever movement feels the easiest. That’s mainly to avoid injury. And if I don’t have a plan I’ll just do too many sporadic exercises and loose interest due to lack of structure and go sit back on the couch. But even if I’m rested. Say it’s supposed to be back day and pull ups feel like I weigh 1000lbs but push ups feel effortless. Then I’ll just make that day chest day. I try to let my body tell me what it wants to do more than the schedule. I find it makes me more productive and I’m able push harder with confidence most days because the movements feel easier

I’ve been watching for 3 years now. I found your channel when I tried CrossFit out and have been watching since even with CrossFit not being my sport of choice. You keep it entertaining and real in all vlogs and news updates. Amazing journey Legend!

Quick tip, break the eggs on the flat surface instead of the lip of the counter! Works much better!

I think these vlogs are giving better perspective on how you two operate and get work done. You slowly letting in some work. This is helpful to entrepreneural types. Maybe Jas can give us a business day "tour" of the routine that keeps the business side alive

I’ve had something similar. It would keep me up/wake me up. I found amazing results with a strict elimination diet. It helped me heal after a 9 month breakout, narrow down my triggers, and I can avoid it now. Hope you find some relief!

Life tip - crack the eggs on the counter, or any flat surface, and you won't have to worry about it exploding and dripping down the cabinets 👍. p.s. Love your videos!

welp, was going to mention this but too late. =) another "hack", crack the eggs directly into the pan and stir in there...saves cleaning an extra bowl/container.

Also used to suffer with terrible eczema from a young age well into my 20s, also was terrible with staying hydrated. I finally started getting on top of my hydration and sodium intake and it all went! I notice now as soon as my hydration slips for a few days it starts to creep back.

I’ve noticed when I eat just eggs and bacon as breakfast, my stomach feels way better and I’m more ready to eat lunch later. And I do a veggie purée packet at some point for some carbs and vitamins.

Best way to crack eggs is to avoid the corner of the countertop. Use the flat part. You can even just drop them of the top from like 10-15cm height. Perfect crack everytime.
