Scorpion already has enough bro. He has insane range, plus frames, high damage, and a teleport that can lead to mind games (that could get a startup buff). I think that all he needs if they wanted to make him high tier is a hitbox extension for his mid, and maybe make him low flame safe so that he has a stronger mixup game. Otherwise I think he’s mid tier above Mileena (although this tier list sucks).

As a shang tsung main, you don't see shang tsung because he has no mix, once people figure out that all you gotta do is not press buttons and block low, shang can't get a hit. If you are losing to shang you're probably just not blocking and mashing.

I have to agree as well. While I don’t play Shang personally, going against him is honestly really easy and I’m not scared to throw out a few things because he just has no ways to open up the opponent unless the opponent makes a mistake. He’s like an Ermac without any cancels and no facade for his gameplay.

Personally as A Kitana Main I agree she’s top 10 but she’s missing A overhead attack, I always mentioned an overhead attack because it’s the one thing she’s missing, unless you choose A cameo to open something up,most Kitana’s strings can be blocked and you can’t do anything because she only has Mid, High and Low. As good as Kitana is, You have to either use A cameo or get lucky with your strings sometimes (she does have the very useful windbomb special move too) at this point Jax, Janet, Scorpion, and other cameos are good for Kitana but if she maybe gets an overhead attack or one of her attack strings changed she could be better and see more results maybe in tournaments as well.

People that think Geras is mid tier clearly don't play as Geras. Yes, the new hourglass visual can be considered a bit of a nerf, but his advancing mids have really good range so if you're on point with your footsies, the 12 frame start up on his F2 and 16 (I think?) on his B1 catch a LOT of people off guard. Not to mention his damage is really good and you can go for some half decent 50/50s with his F4 if you use kameos like scorpion and Khameleon. This guy should be in high tier.

Proof being if the fastest average human reaction time is 12(which is not what most people are reacting to anyway) plus the 22 frames startup of teleport thats already 34 frames way to slow to react to almost every fireball in the game.

A friend of mine plays mileena and he reacts to every projectile I throw fullscreen, and Liu kang's projectile is pretty fast. You also have to consider that the projectile will literally pass through her after the first like 19 frames of start up time.

Nah you must be smoking the Za to say kung Lao is in the same tier as Li Mei and Havik😂 Kung Lao is easy top 10. So is Tanya and general shao is also much better than all characters in mid tier. And deserves to be in high tier. But that aside this is a solid list overall. Though I'd change the order of the top tier and drop ermac down a bit. While he's really good once you master him. None of the crazy shenanigans he's doing are true unless you're willing to spend bar and even then it's a mind game with armoured attacks so he's not as good as you may think. Not downplaying him but putting him above Kung Lao, Tanya and Peacemaker is straight up wrong imo

Omniman too high. Havik too high, theres no way either of you unironically believe Sub, Scorp and Nitara are not better than Havik. Baraka def high tier with Kano. Shao is either High or Top. Tanya is literally top3-4 with Goro. Reiko is also minimum top 3. Only Reiko and Ashrah are the only characters with a full package. Peacemaker is also probably a lil higher too.

As for bad matchups Liu off the top of my head. As for Shao, all he has is pressure and you can play around a kameo like sub or khameleon. Sub is just him straight sacrificing a better kameo to deal with one thing and it breaks in one hit. Then Khameleon isn't jade all the time. Also his reversal is a high so that sucks. Anyone that can pressure with a low ducking string or plus low has free pressure against Shao (Raiden, Tanya, Lao).

@@CeeJayMnD I may have to dabble with different kameos myself. I like cyrax's forward spin to keep me safe at the same time tho I have to be conscious once I use it because now all I have is my 1-3 best frame advantage moves to rely on. Getting 20% off throws can be deadly too if you pull off 2-3 of them in a match.

Mileena mid tier really? I strongly disagree. She might not have zoning but her teleport counter zones and her ball roll can counter zone as well. Same goes with her enhanced air ball. She has ways to get in your face to create pressure, not to mention with the kameos it can potentially make her even better
