This is so true. I grew up a “fly kicks” guy different from a (Sneaker head lol) but when I graduated from casual designer sneaker Bc of work I discovered the difference in quality & durability which made it easier for me to understand the concept of spending once on quality especially for boots suits coats & dress shoes. Spend more & buy less 👌🏾

Loving the vids and your insight. I too, have a shoe problem. lololol! But I'm cool with it. I have a few handmade shoes and I love the feel. The break in for them is almost instant! Can't go wrong with them. Thanks for the videos!

Brilliant! Thanks guys. I have just gone down a deep dark rabbit hole looking for shoes for my wedding and this gives me hope. It is so hard to find quality at any price sometimes. If you could put a list of the makers you mentioned in the description that would be amazing. Awesome videos, keep up the great work!

Greetings from Kenya. I have becoming a fan in the past month. I love your videos. One thing I wanted you to cover was styles of shoes. I was in London last week and I looked for Charles Philip loafers (almost feels like slippers) but could not find them. So If you can perhaps do a video on loafers that would be massively helpful chaps.

I can definitely attest to the fact that price makes a difference. I had a $80 pair that took a little bit to break in but when I got a $150 pair from J. Murphy to match my new suit they were much more comfortable right out the box

Hey guys, great video! So you guys covered how to match your shoes, and which brands are your favorite. Could you guys do a video covering how to take care of your shoes (leather)... Such as what products you use, frequency of using the products, etc... Thanks !

Hey guys, hope life is treating you well. Quick question about the bands you recommend in the video. I've done some research into Sons of London, Dune, Kurt Geiger and Aldo and it looks like for their price point they are no where near the quality of shoes made by brand like Loake and other Northamptonshire based shoe makers. surely the construction of a shoe is very important to consider as a Blake stitch will wear out at lot quicker and more difficult to rebuild than a Goodyear welted construction

how do you feel about buying used items? Do you think it is good to get items if you don't have the money for the retail? or do you think you're trading off the lifespan of the item for the price?

great video I am a Chelsea Boot man , in a suit or in jeans , and love my double monks too I used to buy cheap shoes for work , ie under 50 pounds UK .. my really nice shoes cost me 150 pound upwards ... It is true that the expensive ones work out cheaper in the long run as they last , look good always and are just so nice to wear .. my advise ... listen to what every man who has owned one good pair of shoes ( whatever the style ) says .. you simply will not go back to cheap stuff . thanx guys for such a good video

I spend a lot on my shoes. Mostly because I tend to judge people's character based on their choice of footwear. It would therefore be hypocritical of me to wear shoes that are sub-par. p.s. I'm more of a single monk type of guy. Color-wise I prefer burgundy.

Treated myself a pair of loakes cannon on sale from the chester store. Cannot be anymore happy. Used to wear jones shoes price between 90 to 130 pounds. The loakes were £102 (down from £225) and the quality and construction is unbelievable when comparing to jones. Handmade and goodyear welted, something I didn't even know about until the store assistant told me.

I work at events (trade shows and public events at a convention center), so rubber soles are more comfortable. They serve a dual purpose of being dressy, while being functional and comfortable. Nice styles in rubber soles are difficult to come by here in the US. They tend to be big and clunky looking - not stylish.
@diegoog36545 жыл бұрын
Berluti is not Italian, but French. There's a lot of Italian surnames in France, ie Bugatti

I like it , it all makes sense to wear quality shoes and quality clothes so if you spend, ,£500 pounds on each suit and £200 pounds on new shoes you are worth it. A👑💯
