In the second problem I think there will be no sudden change in current (i.e. Id(Vx=3+) and Id(Vx=3-) will be more or less same) so in Vx vs t diagram slope before saturation and just after saturation will be same so it should follow the straight line for a while and go down to zero after that in a nonlinear manner
