@@chuckirwin7334 thanks Chuck yeah it's going to be pretty slow it's getting pricey now but not cheaping out on elements for the car (wiring harness, vintage air, all new brakes booster and master, etc. gonna take a while but it'll get done and hopefully I won't have to revisit anything. Try grinding the face of your socket down to remove the bevel. That usually works for thin or partially recessed fasteners

Yeah man I agree. I often get asked why I go so crazy with the little details but its only because of 2 things 1) Like you said doing it once.... I did my cherokee years ago and now it needs to be re-done... was done wrong 2) If I am doing something myself I want to at least ATTEMPT to make it look as good as possible. So ill go the extra mile.

Love the series! You should have invested into a good mig setup with gas though. Would have made welding so much easier and enjoyable.

@@SlayHer83 oh yeah for sure 100% honestly I would have but I can't tell you trh amount of people who told me they use or used flux core. Just because it's so easy to get I decided to go that route for this project. hand sanding and flux core the two evils in my life. But despite that it's moving along. Next car would be totally different. I am trying to cover all bases to help people in all situations. This project unforuntsllt is very long and painful at times but honestly I'm happy due to the amount of videos we got and all the things we learned. Thanks for sticking around next one comes out in 2 weeks

I really like watching your videos and how you handle every inch that needs to be fixed. You are doing a great job! - However I'm a bit confused regarding the Vintage Air (and similar) AC. If one closes off the fresh air intake (as per the instructions), how does one get fresh air into the passenger compartment (without opening the side window)?

Thanks I figure if im doing it myself I may as well fix it so I dont have to do it again... do it right (as possible). In terms of the vintage air I dont really know how the system works to be honest I just know the plate will go there so I prepped for it. But in terms of functionality I really dont know... yet. Thankfully I know a lot of people who have this so I know what has to be done now (more or less) Thanks for watching and commetning

You mentioned what drill bits are better. Id say just stick with (cobalt) harbor freight caress them. You can get something that holds an edge better for more money, but they break too. The difference is the edge... You get what you pay for shir with that. Small bits are ezy to brake regardless Just have to keep them sharp I do like the expensive stuff thay stay sharp longer.

@@CalebGibbsAvenue good call. Reason I asked that is because when I first started I had a lot do tools and materials for our locks auto retailer. And everything absolutely sucked. Things would end up breaking. Since then I switched the amazon (at first because it's fast and you don't have to drive to the store. But then I realized there are different levels of quality and the selection made it possible to have quality levels. Not always possible at retailers who may only have two levels of quality. On amazom there are tons of choices... So that's why I asked to see if anyone knew any good bits. Thanks for the advice

Good luck with that sand blaster indoors. You will be getting sand out of your garage for the rest of your life. Use it outside.

@@wakeup6826 everytime I knock into the car sand pours out of all the holes and that was a year ago
