@@giankjojo Yeah loved Battle Brothers, i hope I'm not getting too hyped like i did for Phoenix Point, but i don't see how that studio can mess up what is looking to be X-com mixed with Battle Brothers but with an Aliens the movie aesthetic.

Just wait until you see what a couple companies have got in the works. There are sole very interesting grand strategy games being produced behind the scenes. And advancing technology will make them alot more dense and complex than what was previously possiblem

Homeworld 3 is my most anticipated. Played the originals and got very fond memories from them. Really hoping the new one follows on as an excellent addition to the Homeworld franchise.

Menace is what I'm most excited for. Battle Brothers is tied for best turn based tactics game of all time in my eyes.

DORF looks sick! The bit were you talk about the supplies chain being more complex now that's a convincing argument to sell a conflict RTS, I imagine transport tycoon (open TTD) crossed with Red Alert, lots of fun in perspective :D

I would proabably only play 1 or 2 games from this list. I pop in once in while to this channel to keep up on whats going on with games I might play one day. To me this is the best part of youtube, youtubers who are dedicated to what they like and have made a huge effort to communicate what is going on and what to look out for. To me paid content various business deals and so on, is not a problem. It's part of the business. Keep up the good work. (And as we all know, if a youtuber should stray to far from their path, the comment section would go bonkers...)

I knew about most of the games you mentioned, but Breachway was one I was surprise I knew little about and yet is now one of the games I am most excited about. A card based FTL-like, very nice...Outside of Breachway, DORF and AOH2 are the games I am really excited...

Terminator RTS has Multiple Rocket System?! I'm sold already :D 3:54 and of course I'm mostly excited for Broken Arrow, because it's mix of WARNO/Wargame and World in Conflict, after playing demo it was just perfect!

Im excited for ara and hexxen. a few others that r out in early access now but songs of conquest should be hitting full release soon and a game called Revival: Recolonization is one i hope gets alot of content this year idk if it has a planned full release yet

17:35 - Don't get me wrong, I love WCIII and SCII. However, even if I hadn't heard about the influence of those games, I can clearly see the influence in the units and capabilities. Some of these may be so close as to be in lawsuit category: two headed orge, hero with a spinning manuever. I'm curious to see hear how that turns out.

For Dominions 6, try Middle Ages Abysia. They're a great nation to start off with. Great infantry and great priests/spellcasters.

Outpost: Infinity Siege is a surprise. Devs would definitely miss out if they didn’t have a coop where you have 1 base builder and rest fps; since it seems possible to control ground forces RTS style as well

Does seem to be a lot of Hooded Horse bias here. Love them as much as the next guy, but like, if Breachway is on this list, I'm surprised Earthless didn't make it either. Very similar games but one is made by a studio that AFAICT hasn't ever made a game before, and the other Blackbird Interactive. I'm interested in both, but I know which one I'm more excited for.

Dev Told Age Of History will Also come on Mobile..Like Thats Soo coool..We had Aoh2 for a long time and the only strategy game I loved a lot on mobile. Now That Aoh3 will also come on mobile makes me so happy.

This is shaping up to be a fabulous year for games in no small part to all the interesting strategy games. Hooded Horse is lucky to have you. The only game that comes to mind that's not on the list that I think deserves a mention is _Solium Infernum._ The demo last year was fantastic.

And just so you know, some of the nations in it are not exactly based on mythology. R'lyeh is Lovecraftian, and Man, while largely based on Arthurian legends, also has bits from Wheel of Time.

If it is true that Millennia is coming out in 2024 I would be very weary. It had REAL big questions and looked giga rough from what we got to saw. Maybe it has been cleaned up maybe it is great as anything but I would be very cooled on the hype till we see real stuff from it.

Terminator game seems to be made by my fellow russians mostly and it has a very good feel to it. It is a relatively small game, maybe 50 hours or so. I would say its probably worth 15-25 bucks. Graphics are last gen, but quite comfortable, music is probably the weakest thing. So if you dont want anything unorthodox, grab this game and have a nice ride, oh nevermind, savescum like crazy unless you pick easy diff. Tbf, its pretty brutal and challenging, so just play on easy.
