I’ve listened to so many “experts” on this subject, but your videos are consistently the most helpful. You may not have all the credentials of a PHD or professional psychiatrist, but your lived experience and your genuine kindness make you the best I’ve found. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, wisdom and compassion so generously!

Even now 2 years out from 15 years of toxicity. This video still helps to affirm my experiences. Still working on myself, bit by bit. You will never know how much your videos made a difference. I don’t watch as often, which is a good sign. Thanks again.

Same. It's been a year and she's mostly off my mind but every once in a while I'll remember her and mostly the good times. Then I watch these videos and am reminded of all the cheating, lying, manipulation, control, etc and think yaa.... in better off lol. A good reminder

Like many of us we were just treated like a tool. Our only value was in what we could do or provide for the narcissist. For them eventually the tool gets old and rusty, and they replace it with a new shiny one. The cycle repeats.

1)Do they know they are demon? 2)Do they change? 3)How to beat them in their own mind games? 4)Am I the one? 5)How to disgard them? 6)What spectrum of narcissism is considered NPD? 7) how do I detect them? 8) How to alert others without letting a narc know? 9) how to be non reactive? 10) How to forgive myself after a narcissistic relationship and how to heal? Theses were the questions in my mind and I researched a lot about. I'm guessing the questions before watching the video and see how many are in the videos. ❤

Mine refuses to take accountability for anything. I did it all. Worked my ass off, made 6 figures in 6 months. Took winters off to help the kids with homework. Did everything at home. Cook. Clean. Shopping. Everything. She did nothing. I am grateful she is gone. The wounds to my very soul about what she has done to me, what she did to me. I’ll never trust anyone again

Hi , I hope you’re in a better place , but what’s it like raising a child with a female narc ?
@shane6284Ай бұрын
I feel you brother, I was in a very similar situation. The worst pain comes from the realization that they never really cared about us, our only value was in what we did for them. Basically we were just a tool for them, and that tool is replaceable with a new shiny one when we get a little rusty.
@DustinHodgsonАй бұрын
@@funkymonk542 you do everything. When you’re away at work you’re lucky if they take the time to throw a carrot stick at them. Maybe a pb&j. I would come home after 12 hours crushing sometimes to her passed out drunk house smelling of weed and my son wandering around on his own and saying daddy I am hungry. Would not recommend. She blamed everything on post parting depression. Was physically, emotionally, and mentally violent. I tried to kick her out physical things she did to my son and I. I called her mom and said get here and get her I am kicking her out. Her mother is a matriarchal narcissist as well. Took her on a shopping spree. And I had to listen to her beta b**** rug of a man step dad lecture me how regardless of what happens it’s my god giving duty to take care of her. I should have filed a police report and kicked her out then. Hindsight is 20/20 they say
@DustinHodgsonАй бұрын
@@shane6284 correct. Watching your perceived reality turn to ash is not a good time. Realizing how many times they likely were unfaithful as they projected that onto you is another whole level of trash. 14 of the 16 years I was constantly accused. I am intensely private and introverted. I don’t talk to people. Let alone cheat.

I have been following you for two years now. I never really fully understood that this was exactly my husband. I finally got up the courage to tell him I can't live like this anymore. He was becoming even worse then ever. His narcissistic personality was like taking over. We were supposed to love and live apart and I went home after work to find him in our home . He had.passed away and now my family and his is telling me it's my fault that he is gone. They could not stand him and now they are acting like he was their best friend. I wish he would have listened to me and got help. He just kept blaming me for everything and making me the worst person in the world. That I was just leaving him because I didn't love him but I did. But I had to put myself first. I wasn't myself and our relationship was killing me

❤ I recently found your channel, and your videos are a big help. So thank you. The narc I dealt with tried to control me financially and was extremely jealous. He even tried to convince me to quit my job. I had no self-awareness, and I doubted my own sanity. After I left, he went completely crazy and aggressive - online harassment, brutal insults, blackmail, and non-stop threats. Even after I contacted the police, he wouldn't stop. Claimed that I was a gold digger, a prostitute, mentally ill, etc. He was very sexual and amazing in the beginning, but after he moved in, he started to withhold sex and later claimed that I was a nymphomaniac. It was a horrible experience, and I am still recovering. It's really good to know you are not the only person affected by narcissistic abuse. ❤
@josephgranberg2305Ай бұрын
I would say that the number one trait that would identify a narcissist is control, they have to control everything, the only way you can get your way is to get them to agree with you and the only way to do that is to get the to think it benefits them.
@reinholdbergsteiger8292Ай бұрын
Absolutely. A lot of experts in the field of counseling and psychology who understand narcissism don't always place "control" in the top three, but it is definitely one of those, and basically really devastating to my family through my wife (and especially kids) for decades.

Hi Steph, again a awesome video. It’s your videos on narcissism that Actually have helped me to really understand my mother has a rather extreme COVERT Narcisicisc personality. This this is crazy making, NOW just talking w/mom face to face literally causes my legs to go weak and my balance off. LITERALLY. Do you offer consulting?😢 thank you for everything. PLEASE RESPOND ❤Wendy
@miahconnell23Ай бұрын
Individual consults are a good idea. In the meantime, check q u o r a discussion boards regarding this particular disorder (and ignore the other topics, which read just like “yahoo answers”). Also, ignore most posts about people who are angry about a breakup, since many of those misuse keywords. All that being said, the posts about NPD parents and general DSM info and posts about *oddly specific* behaviours are eyebrow-raising, sometimes high-quality, and helpful. I’ve got a NPD mom, too. Stuff is *unreal* and VERY difficult for “normals” to believe & understand. It’s important to figure this stuff out though: they can move from damaging your belongings to damaging your body (and life, and reputation).
