I have the Glycerin Max. Love the shoe. Brooks is really flexing lately.
@AubreyRunning19 күн бұрын
I fully agree and judging by the shoes at TRE this year, brooks is about to turn things up for sure

For me, it will always be the one and only Prime X2 STRUNG. As soon as the distance goes beyond 12km or there's more than 300meters elevation gain, it's undeniable. The pace are slow , the duration exceeds 90 minutes...but it's exceptional. It's not news from 2024, but it's just...it's like your nonchalant friend, intermittent buddfy, but as soon as he's here, you know you have to seize the moment and that he somehow makes better. But if I should make a move, it's to go to NB and Puma, for what I hear from a diversity of testers.

I hear you and agree except these are only 2024 releases. Because of the duo carbon plates I would include it in a separate category

Wasn’t the Neo Vista your favorite when preparing for Berlins marathon? Or you wouldn’t put them in the max cushioned category. Thanks!
@AubreyRunning27 күн бұрын
Spot on… these will be in a separate category for sure. And yes they will be number 1 😂😂😂

Check out the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro 2, it's brilliant for mid-foot strikers. It's race legal despite having over 40mm stack in the mid-foot. And the upcoming v3 seems even better, with nearly 60mm stack height at the highest point, and it's still legal due to the aggressive cut out at the heel (where the 40mm limit is measured).

I have both shoes and have actually reviewed the 1 and 3. Check out my thoughts on that shoe for sure

@AubreyRunning Ah, good to see that. Although now I'm curious why they weren't included in this video?

Hi Aubrey. I've been always interested in the Altra's Via Olimpus 2 but the zero drop always concern me. Are they plush? How demanding are these compared.to other zero drop shoes? Did you have an adaptation period before using them?? I own a pair torin 6 but now I only use them in the gym and for short runs as they are too demanding for my calves. Thank you in advance.
@AubreyRunning19 күн бұрын
This line of shoes has come a long way and I hated the first version so please make sure you check out version 2 and they have recently started new lines of shoes so please make sure you also check those out

@AubreyRunning Thank you very much for replying me.I know the OG via olympus sucked. I also know Altra has just released the new fwd Olympus....very promising until you start reading that they are way too firm. That's why Iam still inerested in the Olympus 2. But Iam concerned about zero drop and being firm. To put it in perpective my fav Max shoes ( I tried) are the NB More V4.That is the reason I asked those questions. Kind regards

The More V5 has a stiff feel that's not really ideal for casual outings, and its tapered toebox can be a bit limiting. Honestly, I'd choose Puma over it any day. And hey, New Balance, why not skip the small talk and give us the Fuelcell Rebel Max already? For me, the gold standard in this category is definitely the Asics Gel Nimbus. Let’s see some fresh innovation! Yes I am talking to you Adidas!!
@AubreyRunning27 күн бұрын
I don’t know man, the More v5 just feels amazingly comfortable to me. When the goal is max cushioning I feel like this one just delivers.

What daily trainer would you recommend for someone 6’1 235lbs crossing over from weight lifting?
@AubreyRunning19 күн бұрын
I’d say any of these would be great but also check out the Mizuno Neo Vista

Where does 1080v14 come in? I know it's not max cushioned, but it's cushioned right?
@AubreyRunning26 күн бұрын
It will be in the daily trainer list! It’s a very strong contender
